So, due to Callistarya's emergency hysterectomy, we ended up having to cancel the wedding venue, reception, and rehearsal dinner.

Instead, we're doing everything here at the house. Which means the house is half-way done up for everything.

I thought I'd share some pics.

We have this kind of rose-and-diamonds and flowers thing going on all over the house. It's kind of fru-fru ;)

The fireplace mantle is neat. The circular plaque was a wedding gift from my mom, and the silver tube is a scroll case with our names on it, for the wedding certificate.



Here's the menu for the reception dinner. I made a small tres leches torte and raspberry sauce with fresh raspberries today to practice, and it was very delicious :)


We're going to gussy up the dining room table quite a bit for the rehearsal...here it is about half-done.


I'm all antsy and ready for the show ;)

And talking about rehearsals... what's up with that? I don't know, we don't have wedding "rehearsals" over here and I think they're weird =/

Found you some wedding duds, in case you had to take yours back to the rental place due to the rescheduling.

Our duds are paid for, GB....but I wouldn't mind a form fitting camel-toe looking thing like that for the strippers at the bachelorette party :)
