Hot enough for you?

So.. I'm not on the East Coast, but even in Oregon (where it's considered rainy, cold and wet by most people), it's expected to be in the high 90's possibly to 100 today.

I'm VERY thankful for the 68 degree temperature in my office thanks to AC and the fan blowing just to keep the air moving.

How hot is it where you are?

You do seem like one of those guys who would ask that question.

It's chilly and overcast so far today.

To all of you people on the East coast or elsewhere complaining about temperatures in the high 90s or 100s: suck it.

Today it's actually a balmy 97 in the Desert.

It is currently 78 degrees and sunny and it is supposed to get up to 90 degrees by the end of the day and tomorrow will be even hotter. I am so putting my air conditioner up the minute I get home from work. I am a geek and a Washingtonian on top of that I am not made for the sun!

I'm so sick of the media screaming about heatwaves and summer heat when it top 90 on the east coast. The rest of the country has heat like that all the time, well before the east, but does that get coverage? No, of course not. Because New York, Boston, and Philadelphia are the only places that matter, apparently.

Cloudy, drizzly, and about 65 degrees outside with a constant friggin' breeze that's making it feel chilly.

It makes the news because it is atypical for it to hit 100 in NYC. Also because it is a killer when the temps get over 95. Also because of the mild climate on the NE coast, many do not have Air Conditioning that can handle that heat.

It's about 100 degrees in Philadelphia today. But this city being Hell on Earth, I'm not surprised that the soles of my shoes melted walking to work today.

"Heart of the country"? What a fucking joke.

I don't mean it literally, and yes it was.. wait I'm trying to explain a joke to Troll... nevermind! :D

Bah! When I was a kid it wasn't hot until the temperatures broke 100! Didn't get REALLY hot until it broke 120. We couldn't take our crayons outside because they'd melt if we dropped them on the sidewalk! Ice cream? Better eat it inside if you don't like Neapolitan soup. Couldn't ride our bikes cause the tires would stick to the street. We'd get sunburns walking from the car to the supermarket. And when we got back to the car to go home? We couldn't touch the seatbelt buckle, steering wheel, or gear shift with bare hands or we'd burn ourselves! I'd go to a friend's house to swim and the water would be like a tepid bath and once we'd get into the water we'd have to stay there until the late afternoon when the cool deck was finally covered in shadow or we'd get second degree burns on our feet! You think breezes are nice on a hot day? Not when it's 120, then it just feels like Satan's hot farts scorching your face!

And you know what? THAT'S what summer really is!

Luxury!

Thanks to the storms in the Gulf, we're getting nice, overcast stormy weather. Normally it would be sitting around 95F/35C.

Boohoo Eastcoasters. Boo-frickin-hoo.

Feels Like: 60° F
Wind: From NW at 12mph gusting to 18mph
Rainy off and on

We've had major thunderstorms every night and muggy, disgusting 30+ degree days. I'm pretty sick of it. One of these storms needs to happen during the fucking day and cool shit off.

The Gust-meister tells the truth. Trust me. I've been biking in it all week. With the humidity, some newscasters say it feels more like in the low 40s.

I've sweated enough to rehydrate the Saharra.

It is mid 90's where I am, and it is just depressing when I leave air conditioned buildings or stop at a light in my non air conditioned car.

Ayo, it was 111 mutha-fuckin' degrees all up in this bitch earlier today. I got a fan trained on my ass, yo.

pics or it didn't happen! =D

Mid-90's here. Hot enough that the gym shoes I left in my car to change into after work had the glue that holds the little plastic Avia triangles into the sole melted and the slid off.

Fuck this heat.

All you people who are in warmer climates can get a piece of that action too.

It's disgusting.

I don't even normally sweat.

Basketball was HELL today but it made me feel manly.

And then I jumped in a pool and was refreshed.

Good day.
