Heh... I know this wasn't your intent, but it seems kind of funny that you start a thread attacking sexism, and then you accidentally characterize every female screenwriter as a stripper.

I was making the observation that the only famous one in the last several years got a lot of fame through her sex appeal.

Is that bad thing? I mean, it was kind of her goal, using her sexuality to draw attention to herself.

He was making reference to the fact that MANY people would likely only be able to name Diablo Cody, an ex-stripper, as a female screenwriter. This of course fails to account for the nerdiness of his present audience and the fact that the general public would be unlikely to name many MALE screenwriters (if they did, it would likely be writer/director types).

Only screenwriters I know are Stephen Moffat and Joss Whedon.
