I just get it in an RSS feed. If he doesn't post it, I don't even notice.
Strictly in terms of inking and coloring the strip, no (but this does not include taking breaks to play ping-pong with the PA guys). However, the planning stages can take a while, and I get the impression that Kurtz tends to not work out stories/layouts ahead of time. He has made some noise about working on his writing, so maybe it'll get better.Artists of the forum, is there enough going with the art in his strip that it should take ten or twelve hours to do?
I wonder how many extra page views he gets by posting the strip late? Depending on how late the strip is I've hit his site four or five times an evening until the strip is up. Not sure how google ads compensates but if it's by page views then he's a genius.I just don't see why Kurtz can't get comics done on time.

I wonder if the PA crew regret letting him move up there? I can't imagine they enjoy having him around ALL THE TIME.The story is always changing with that guy. First, it was "working with other artists will really revitalize my creative juices and give me that push to do better", now it's "I'm too distracted." I'm guessing that Khoo, et al, kept telling him to, you know, work on his comic.
You've never had a friend that suddenly annoyed the shit out of you once you worked together or lived together? There's a world of difference between hanging out once in a while and seeing him everyday. What? They're friends. What is this.
In the latest PATV, they were lamenting Scott's move to the annex. They specifically said they spent a lot of time in his office. You've never had a friend that suddenly annoyed the shit out of you once you worked together or lived together? Yeh. So it sounds like it may have been the vice versa. In the latest PATV, they were lamenting Scott's move to the annex. They specifically said they spent a lot of time in his office.
A convention is not a valid excuse for not maintaining a regular release schedule. Aside from the fact that he should have some kind of buffer or guest strips, conventions don't just drop out of the goddamn sky and he should have been able to account for it.So you might have noticed that there was no new strip on Friday and today was also short a new installment of PvP. I wanted to thank all my readers for being understanding around con time. With friends coming into and leaving town, the prep work, the con itself…it’s hard to maintain a normal schedule.
Bah, there is no accounting for tastemakers.A convention is not a valid excuse for not maintaining a regular release schedule. Indeed.Bah, there is no accounting for tastemakers.
"the computer says noooooo."The real question is whether today's strip will be up before 4am tomorrow.
