That "Kim" in the green jacket is actually Chie Satonaka from Persona 4. It's a seriously dead-on costume, too.

They spell it Olivier in the subtitles, if my memory serves, and I just now realized I spelled it wrong (now fixed). I'm not sure if it should be Olivia, or if she's supposed to have the masculine version of the name. The spelling of some some names in anime tends to get a little messed up sometimes. There's also confusion in FMA over Riza/Lisa Hawkeye.

Cosplayer and geek-girl extraordinaire Meagan VanBurkleo is auctioning off a Nintendo DS signed by Shigeru Miyamoto, Koji Kondo, Charles Martinet, Eiji Aonuma and Martin Leung, with proceeds going to aid relief efforts in Japan. Bidding is already over $2,000 and I wish her the best of luck in trying to raise money for a worthy cause.

There are also plans from a group of cosplayers to produce a calendar to raise money for relief efforts in Japan. Tweets from cosplayer Riddle have the few details I know of:

The Cosplay Bounty contest is still going, though the rules are being shifted (possibly completely rewritten) to allow easier participation. Unfortunally i saw others italian cosplayers here but i didn't remeber the exact name. i Know for the most all italian cosplayers cause i go in all italian comic convention but someone only for face or costume. But surely i can tell you the exact convention is made the photo =)
