Awesome news! The Humble Frozenbyte Bundle is here. Once again, pay what you want, DRM-free, money to charity, etc. The offer is available for two weeks, barring extensions.

The games:
- Trine
- Shadowgrounds
- Shadowgrounds: Survivor
- Splot
- Jack Claw

Of these, I'm only familiar with Trine, but if you haven't played it, that's reason alone to grab the bundle. I'll be getting it, since I played Trine on Gametap and am not a subscriber anymore.

No announcement of a Steam tie-in, but given how past bundles were run, there are bound to be bonus announcements later on in the offer.

Borderlands ate a good month or so of solid gaming from me. It's MORE fun with a friend to play with, but still a HIGHLY entertaining storyline to play through on your own.

Today's one-day on Steam is Civilization V for 40%-off. That's $29.99 here, and the DLC is all discounted as well.

Steam also has a weekend deal on a Splinter Cell collection for $25.98, four games and a DLC pack. One of the games is SC Conviction, which has the DRM that requires an always-on internet connection to play. I don't know if it's been toned down to only require the connection to start the game, like Assassin's Creed 2 is rumored to.

You think wrong.

The graphics aren't the best but the content and the combat is great. The community is almost Bethesda level as well in terms of new content.

It's a solid game, especially for less than 15$.

Better than paying 40$ for Portal and finish it in 6 hours. :)

This game provided me at least a 100 hundred hours of fun.
