This winter I was driving to work when I turned a corner I saw a car in a ditch...
It was a pretty spectacular sight, as I got to the car I got out and checked if there was someone in there that needed help. Luckily finding the car empty, with the driver nearby calling everybody :)
Got back in my car and drove off... for a couple of meters when it hit me... This is the facebook and youtube era, so I should prolly take a picture at least. My lazy ass didn't even bother getting out of the car to take the picture, but I still think it looks nice.
I sent it in to the local newspaper and it got printed the next day, front page :)

second picture just looks goofy (random person)

This is real. A friend of one of my FB friends works in Vegas and snapped this with their cellphone. It was a celebrity's bill, as you might imagine. I have the name, but I probably shouldn't share it. What gets me the most is 1) who orders Bud Light with all this good stuff on the table, and 2) the drinks are friggin expensive---even the ordinary stuff, and 3) look at the tip!

Oh come on, tell us who Fade... We promise not to go tell them you told us.

Also, who the HELL pays 10 bucks for a bud light?

$475 for a bottle of Grey Goose? Wow.... the way they just put whatever price they want on things is astounding.

Dom Perignon and Red Bull? I'm guessing Dane Cook.
The Red Bull is for the Grey Goose shots. Vodka Red Bulls.

I get that. I mean I didn't question the $100,000 for 4 Bottles of wine. Just the vodka hit close to home.

Well, the 15L Nebuchenezzars sell for $2K a pop for us mere mortals so that's a pretty big markup.

What I don't get is that the 1995 Dom Perignon is only $25K. That's an $8500 bottle of wine.

No. But oddly close in a linguistic way. Correct first two letters, and correct in that the last name is an ordinary English word. I don't know why I'm keeping it a secret...just seemed like one of those things that might come up on a search engine.

I had to google it, too. But apparently all my FB buddies knew of him. I don't really care for any sports, and never recognize player names. So I thought it was just me.

The phrase "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" I've always found to just be another way of saying "we want to screw you with a sandpaper condom, and make you think you're doing something wrong and stupid if you raise objection."

However, I have absolutely no objection to these people charging these prices if they can find suckers to actually pay them. There's another phrase about fools and money. It's not like anybody MADE them pay 10 bucks per bud light.

As weird as this sounds, I'm really disappointed by that. I know White is ridiculously rich (~150m according to wikipedia) but he always seemed like the kind of guy who stayed grounded and wouldn't do that sort of thing. Not to mention, he also seemed like the kinda guy you'd like to get a drink with and if I spent literally every cent of my money I'd still be about a house away from covering that tab.
