I just saw Dead Nation, hmmmm.. I could "steal" a copy of little big planet from my brother in law (he doesn't play it anymore) and get Dead nation and inFamous :)

Oh I have a PSP too, it's just that..... well I prefer the games on the PS3. We'll leave it at that.... Arrrrr.....

I can get online and I can log in, but I cannot get into the stores even though they show up as "online".

Yeah, it turns out the rumors of the store being ready were just that. The official line is that the store will be up by the end of May.

Sony has been hit again, 2 more of their sites/networks/divisions have been hacked, bringing the total number of known Sony hacks to 8. Part of me feels really bad for Sony, and part of me wants to know what the fuck they're doing about network security - we've moved beyond The Three Stooges security team and on to Keystone Kops, talkies are too good for them.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if some hackers somewhere end up with Blackwater style mercenaries at their doorstep. There's really only so far you can push a faceless corporation before they outright have you murdered.

Holy crap, they are taking there sweet time getting it back up. Good thing I don't want to buy the Fallout 3 DLC or anything...

And then some of us want those free games.

I think the big victims here (not of the hacking incident, but of the PSN functionality) are games dependent on multi-player that are being released in this time, that aren't getting their full use. It's probably hurting sales, especially for indie games that don't have physical versions to purchase.

I just had to shake my head as I kept seeing the ads for SOCOM's co-op mode while the PSN was nowhere close to coming back up in any form.

Maybe I'm missing it, I only check a few gaming blogs and my buddy who works for Activision says they sure as hell don't know yet (which makes testing multiplayer games... difficult), but has Sony discussed anything lately about this? Press releases or statements or anything?

They said they'd have it up by the end of the month. They've said about customer appreciation; nothing about the games depending on multi-player.

Can't be downloaded from the store yet, at least nowhere I could find on the Store.

Yeah, they embarrass Sony by opening hundreds of thousands of people up to possible identity theft.

THANKS SELF RIGHTEOUS INTERNET GUYS!

It was the girl's fault, she shouldn't have been so attractive and worn such nice clothes if she didn't want to get raped.

I'm torn between agreeing with you, and thinking that Sony is more like an annoying asshole who went into a bar, picked a fight, and ended up starting a bar brawl. Sony has been treating their customers poorly for years. They installed rootkits on people's PCs via audio CD, and their customer support for their computers was so bad it made my sister cry, among other things.

This isn't about Sony making themselves an attractive target, this was Sony being flagrantly rude to their customers. Sony has basically been taunting the public for years, and a group finally punched them in the face for it. That doesn't make the punch right, but Sony should have seen it coming.

If I was an avid multiplayer PS3 gamer (aka when I get those I MUST PLAY NHL nights in the fall) and I couldn't? I'd fucken hate these hackers.

People need to stop hiring these people and instead send them to jail and be someone's bitch.

I hope EA is next for buying Bioware and making me play Dragon Age 2
