Downloaded dead nation and wipeout as I have infamous and had little big planet . Also grabbed mod nation racers and then little big planet for the psp.

tbh I'm lovin' this, I think they aren't going to stop until sony goes completely under. which is VERY possible, they must have lost a few bil with all these problems.

$170M from the hacks, so far.

I'm honestly less concerned about Sony, and more about the developers doing work on the PSN. I heard from a friend on the programming side that the dev net also went down. So not only did indie developers lose a month and change of sales, they also lost the same in development time. Throw in the guys who won't be able to announce launches at E3 that their companies spent (relatively) large amounts of money on, and that's really not good.

You have no idea how much money Sony has.

SpecialKO is more accurate--this is hurting the people who make games for Sony's network and system.

Jiarn, I'm in the same boat. If you look at the announcement on the Sony blog, they have instructions for what to do if the options vanish like they did for us. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm holding onto hope.

The big irony is that I haven't been to the online store and was genuinely intrigued with some of the stuff there (PS1 games for the PSP for instance) until this failed. UMD for me, thanks.

Well everything's fine and dandy. The GF is enjoying the hell out of Little Big Planet and we're looking forward to playing some Dead Nation together soon.

Mine are still downloading, my original 60 gig model no longer accepts wired connections (I think the port in the back is dead) and the wireless connection to my wireless router in the basement is total garbage.

Got dead nation and the space shooter game. Upgraded to the free PSN plus program and downloaded for free Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I assume once my month is gone that it won't work anymore? Either way I'm gonna play the crap out of it this month.

I downloaded Wipeout HD and inFAMOUS. I haven't even got around to playing them yet but I already am wondering if I should have gone with Dead Nation instead of inFAMOUS but oh well.

I am loving Dead Nation. My wife and I just finish the game (yesterday) with BrainDead level and now working on Normal :)

We love killing zombies.

Dead Nation is a blast. I'm trying to talk my brother into buying it so we can do online coop. Pretty fun game though, even if Canada is in 9th place :( :(

What is "your XMB" they are referring to? When I try to manage my account through the site, I'm left on a page with a "Down for maintenance" message, which is not improving my loss of download options issue. How did you get them back?

EDIT: Never mind. Didn't realize it was part of the PSP Menu. :facepalm:
