Once it would have been funny. Now you're just begging for a re-run of the old days. You know, back when you had that persona...?I'm just giving him some shit; I distinctly remember NR scoffing about schools shutting down for a couple inches of snow. Shoes on the other foot in the summer time.
Thats the thing for me I can handle plenty of hot weather even though I prefer cooler temps, but if you throw a ton of humidity in there? UGH. I'm as good as dead.Combine that with humidity,
Come to Saskatchewan. The high is supposed to be 68F today. I'm still sleeping with a duvet on my bed.Late to the party...
72 degree high?
I'd kill for a 72 degree low...
I hear ya, sistah. Early mornings are a pain in the tuchus.I hate having to get up at a 6. makarage at its finest.
(Yes I know some people get up at five and hit the gym and eat breakfast and cure cancer or whatever the fuck but I do not care.)
I'm not trying to troll you at all. It was all light hearted banter.Once it would have been funny. Now you're just begging for a re-run of the old days. You know, back when you had that persona...?
How people react to heat is, quite frankly, a subjective issue. I dislike temperatures in excess of 25 C, except in saunas. Combine that with humidity, little to no wind and the fact that the sun (and the temperature) starts to rise at 3am, and you have a situation where sleeping is somewhat difficult, for me personally. That is what I was ranting about. Now, consider how an entire community starts panicking over a piddly few inches of snow... well, that's another kettle of fish entirely. Sorry, old bean, but weak troll is weak troll.
Hey we here in PA get a solid foot before we start making mad dashes to the grocery store for milk, bread, and eggs!I scoff at your couple inches of snow, too.
Hmm. We have a Shelly Moore Capito down here. Congresswoman. Daughter of convicted felon and ex-governor Arch Moore. Joke.Hey Wisconsin, keep your political ads outta my state! I don't care who Shelly Moore is, or why she's yelling all the time, I can't vote for her anyways. Great use of campaign funds though.
This one is running against a recalled Republican, haven't looked into it beyond that.DarkAudit said:Hmm. We have a Shelly Moore Capito down here. Congresswoman. Daughter of convicted felon and ex-governor Arch Moore. Joke.
Now if there is ANY accumulation on the roads.... we shut down. And on the 3rd day it is legal to start eating the young.Hey we here in PA get a solid foot before we start making mad dashes to the grocery store for milk, bread, and eggs!
I think that depends on what part of PA. If you're near Philly, when a snowflake hits your windshield you start crying that the roads are a mess.I'm not trying to troll you at all. It was all light hearted banter.

Feh, they do that here in Saskatoon.I think that depends on what part of PA. If you're near Philly, when a snowflake hits your windshield you start crying that the roads are a mess.
Sounds like DC.I think that depends on what part of PA. If you're near Philly, when a snowflake hits your windshield you start crying that the roads are a mess.
Ours is a Republican, but she's just dumb enough to do this. This one is running against a recalled Republican, haven't looked into it beyond that.
That's true. Especially in and around Da Burgh.I think that depends on what part of PA. If you're near Philly, when a snowflake hits your windshield you start crying that the roads are a mess.
my district is Michelle Bachmans... >_>Ours is a Republican, but she's just dumb enough to do this.
Fortunately she's not in my district. Unfortunately she's in the largest district in the state.
They do that everywhere. A place can get 10ft/year and they'd still drive like morons at the barest skiff of snow.Feh, they do that here in Saskatoon.
hocrap. Bones lives like, a few miles from me.my district is Michelle Bachmans... >_>
Here's hoping she sticks around long enough to lose *both* jobs.my district is Michelle Bachmans... >_>
Unfortunately she's like a bad case of herpes. There's just no getting rid of her. Here's hoping she sticks around long enough to lose *both* jobs.
Do you prefer to enjoy it standing or sitting?I like my weather rare.
Do you have a mortgage or terms with them? If your average monthly balance was less than $1500, you were likely costing them money by being an account holder. They'll gain more than they lost by having you leave, sorry. So my bank decided to institute a new $10 monthly fee on my checking account. I can get around that by either having direct deposit (Yeah, right. try convincing the owner to spend the money and time to set that up so one guy can avoid his bank fees.) or have a $1500 average monthly balance (and have that sword hanging over my head?). Not gonna happen.
So I decided to take my business elsewhere. Not as easy as I thought. Only a couple of the banks in town accept ATM deposits, the one I just left, and one I didn't want to do business with. After an hour or so of running around to ask questions at the branches I would actually be dealing with, I finally got a new account going with the first one I'd considered. At least they were able to get me going with a new ATM card right away.
But you'd think 13 years as an account holder, even a small checking account like mine, would be worth something. Apparently they thought it would be worth an extra $10 a month. They were wrong.
If that bank doesn't work out, try USAA. Since you were in the military you should be able to get an account with them. They don't have branch offices around the country, but their service is awesome. Also you can scan in checks for deposit using your smartphone. So my bank decided to institute a new $10 monthly fee on my checking account.
