Sadly, Tegid and I were a little late, and the rest were working on a Cinderella schedule (they had to go home by 12), and Twitch even left a little earlier, so Tegid and I barely met him, and the tavern was loud, and I wasn't in best condition (I spent the previous night with a bottle of purple vodka) but it was very nice meeting both our foreign forumites (and meeting again our local Den!).
Twitch has already gone home, but there's a potential dinner brewing for tomorrow for the rest of us (and for that girl I liked and wanted to go to route 66 with Baerdog)!

Den and I were muy triste when we heard about that. We were still able to have a nice dinner and drinks with Yasmina though, so it all worked out in the end.There finally wasn't any sexy socializing

Just a friend of mine. She wanted to see Route 66 with somebody and asked me to ask for volunteers on the forums a while back, and Baerdog was the coolest guy around!

I thought you were terrified and disgusted with America? That's the impression I get from a lot of your posts about it anyway...
I can't speak for N_R, and I can't say it's how I feel about America, this is just an idea:
Would you not want to visit the Galactic Empire? Yes, it's terrifying and disgusting, but it's the backdrop of such a beloved fiction you wouldn't pass an oportunity to visit it.
99% of all the fiction europeans enjoy has the US as a backdrop. If we go to the United States, we are almost visiting a real life Disneyland.
Only with blackjack! And hookers!

Well aren't you a ray of sunshine today... Some of us can make the difference between the country and the people. I'd love to visit New York, or New Orleans, or Chicago, and I'd definitely like to meet some of the people here on the forums. Hell, I think I'd go for a cross-country road trip if I had the time and the money. But that doesn't mean I have to like some of the things USA or its representative organizations are doing.
