This is just outside Chico:

We also get wildfires, floods, mudslides, tsunamis, extreme heat, extreme cold, high winds, blizzards, avalanches, and almost any other natural disaster. The only thing I don't remember ever getting would be a hurricane. No other state enjoys such a wide variety of natural disasters. So yeah, wake me when something is seriously damaged.

Gee, that hurts. This whole thing is nothing more than people on the east coast being self-centered. A non-serious earthquake that does little to no damage hits them, and it's the end of the world.

Tell me this: If an earthquake of the same magnitude hit anywhere else, would it be news worthy? Would it be the top news result and get coverage on CNN? Nope. Because IT'S NOT THAT BAD.
