I am loving today's comic. Well, I'm loving the storyline in general, but the tension in today's update is great.
I dunno, consider how the last bit of foreshadowing got derailed.*Reads today's*
....the next strip is going to be fucked up.
The two of them need to kiss. Like right now.
But it's what you're thinking now.
That is really not what I was thinking.
I'm betting that she crushes her, with gooey bits and ichor spraying out like she cracked open a lobster. But I'm not sure how she's going to get free though. Not a chance. (Real) Kin is about to murder her violently and it's going to be amazing.
That was my thought.I thought that Real!Kin would use Scorpion!Kin own stinger against her, possibly, targeting the heart.
I am not sure if Arthropods have hearts in general, however, considering that Scorpion!Kin is a centaur-like creature, she could have a human-ish heart in her superior chest and another one in her inferior chest.Don't scorpions have a second heart in their tails or am I spewing shit all over the place.
She should be immune to her sting's poison, but if we go by Dragon Strike rules, making a manscorpion sting itself is an automatic kill.I am not sure if Arthropods have hearts in general, however, considering that Scorpion!Kin is a centaur-like creature, she could have a human-ish heart in her superior chest and another one in her inferior chest.
Why would she immune to her own poison? I don't think the poison circulates over the body, it would stay isolated in the sting until is injected in another body, also a poison that can be used against someone from the same species than yours would be more usefull than one that isn't.She should be immune to her sting's poison, but if we go by Dragon Strike rules, making a manscorpion sting itself is an automatic kill.
Scorpions are immune to their own poison, and mostly immune to other scorpions'. Assuming she follows scorpion rules, she is.Why would she immune to her own poison? That sounds like Nick's prom nigh-That stinger is still pretty big though.
True, but big Scorpions ether have no poison or have very weak poison. This is a general rule for pretty much all of the Arachnid family. So considering Scorpion Kin's size, it's entirely possible her poison is next to ineffective.Scorpions are immune to their own poison, and mostly immune to other scorpions'. Assuming she follows scorpion rules, she is.
I like how you phrased that supporting statement as a counterargumentTrue, but big Scorpions ether have no poison or have very weak poison. I am only dissapointed with the lack of gooey scorpion-bitsNew page is pretty cool.

howcome I don't think scorpion kin was sexually harassed by the ranger?
What pincers? She had normal hands. She even had rings on those hands.I wonder why Scorpikin didn't use her pincers against our Kin when she's being strangled. Now, granted, I've never been strangled before, so maybe when it happens your brain shuts down and all you can do is grab uselessly at your throat with your hands. But I think our Kin lucked out when Scorpikin didn't decide to use her huge, armored pincers, and grab Kin's huge soft hunk of victim.
