Looks like Monday. As I predicted, lameness of last week was to fill things out until he resumed the storyline this week.

I've felt like I've beat the dead horse of getting Scot to Give a Damn about having his product up. I am tired. Now a just check once a week or so and read the comics out of order for the last five updates. And nothing ruins a comic arc like reading it in reverse order.

I guess that just puts me back into the flogging a dead horse category again.

Well being around the PA guys can only energize you so much. Hell, I've been "kurtz'd" more than once in my life. Those times where I thought, "If I do X than I can totally do Y. THIS IS SO EXCITING!" and then "Fizzle". Maybe PvP ran out of steam, and that's fine.

I'd stopped reading for a while sometime after the forums divide, and only in the last year did I start checking consistently again. I'm not so put off right now that I'll remove it from my bookmarks again. Not yet.

I just have it on my google reader RSS feed. When he gets around to it, I get the comic without having to go look for it.

Now, sometimes the QUALITY of those comics has made me want to unsubscribe... But no longer do I get irritated by going to a website to see no new content. Now content comes to me (often faster than I can handle, really).

Now that he's back to drawing Brent the way he did before, I'm gonna come out and say it. I liked the new style better.

Does the new Francis design look like a two-tone wookie to anyone else? By not shading his beard and making it part of the outline of his face, Scott has given Francis the appearance of being covered in a fine layer of fur.

Is it part of the new design, or did Scott just forget to color it in?

Yesterday's is colored in, so I'd assume it's the latter.

Yeah, I can't stand the uncolored goatee thing. It's like he's got weird squid stuff growing out of this chin.

It was, but if we're giving credit where it's due, Kurtz tweeted that Erika Sadsad from the PA office pointed him in this direction.

Not that I'm giving Kurtz a hard time or anything, just sayin'.

His comments stated that readers emailed him wanting to know how Brent is taking the news. To be honest, I went to PVP when I heard the news expecting (and hoping) to see a tribute strip. I didn't think about emailing Scott but I'm glad other fans did. Great strip. One of the best Steve Jobs tributes I've read.

I agree in that it's the perfect response from Brent. I'm not a huge Steve Jobs fan, but it's certainly in character for Fanboi Brent.
