For those who aren't familiar with the term "Manic Pixie Dream Girl", please refer to this movie. Also, 500 Days of Summer is indie-hipster trash.

Fair enough. I get rolling on things I hate and the next thing I know I wake up with fifty angry posts about the Kardashians. So, this thread is basically trashing this, that, and the other thing?
We get enough of that as it is from fade and Charlie.
lol wutBecause heartbreak is inspirational for writing in a way that happiness never will be. Not necessarily good writing, but basically if you're happy and content, you don't need to create.
The teacher part of me liked this message as a form of positive reinforcement. Keep it up.Fair enough. I get rolling on things I hate and the next thing I know I wake up with fifty angry posts about the Kardashians.
Okay... things I enjoy: Boardwalk Empire, The Muppets, Broken Social Scene, the movie Visioneers and the Everyday Italian with Giada DeLaurentis
OHHHH HEY FUCK YOU DUDEAlso, 500 Days of Summer is indie-hipster trash.
You don't do art when you're happy and content. Discontent is the driving impulse for creative effort, whether it's personal demons, financial or personal obligations, or the need to express something.lol wut

I just have to point out that Tiny Tim had severe OCD, taking a dozen showers per day and was terrified of women.AHEM.

Also ElJuski... you know that thing that happened to you while the Ewok song played? I think this would be a great substitute.
I don't know any Adele songs yet. Something about her troubles me. It's that I never hear much about how talented she is. It's always one of my female friends talking about how amazing it is that a women who looks like her is famous. If the most memorable thing about her is that she managed to get famous without slipping into a size 0...I've actually slipped past the whole Adele thing, from back in last album when all the hipsters and Rolling Stone were slobberin' her knob, to now when every half-assed college girl is all slobberin' her knob.
Tom Waits? Is it Tom Waits?!I judge a singer 100% soley on the uniqueness of voice. I don't care about the lyrics they write, the music they have playing in the backround or what they're like in life. 100% solely on the uniqueness of voice. There are few who register for me as "greats".
Louis Armstrong, Sinatra, David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, 50 Cent (Yeah I'm serious), Loreena McKinnet, Adele, and a few others that are currently escaping me offhand.
I judge them based on whether or not I'd like to have a beer with them. Just like politicians.I judge my singers based on bust size and what they eat for dinner. I couldn't care less if a Singer can actually sing.
We know...I judge my singers based on bust size and what they eat for dinner. I couldn't care less if a Singer can actually sing.
I judge my politicians by how much smarter they are than I am. I don't want a guy just like me leading my country. I suck. I want a guy who's smart, who's read books, who's surrounded by other smart people and who's smart enough to listen to them.I'd like to have a beer with them. Just like politicians.
So that's how i can make bitches not get pissed off when i call them 'hoes to their face...I judge a singer 100% soley on the uniqueness of voice. I don't care about the lyrics they write, the music they have playing in the backround or what they're like in life. 100% solely on the uniqueness of voice.
