Aren't most pencils these days made with graphite instead of lead?Lead poisoning ftw.
I tell the kids the rubber duck story: one of my professors picked a random article on Wikipedia, the rubber duck article, and made himself its creator to test the speed of the wiki editors. He spent months as the creator on that site. Once I tell the kids that, they seem to understand that Wikipedia is full of such bullshit and look for other sources.Librarians everywhere are crying....
I did that in undergrad. Not very helpful with law papers but for other stuff it was. Also, a lot of wiki articles have references at the bottom. I used that extensively for my own papers so i could find sources to cite.

MONKEY'S PAW SCENARIO.For me, the "more wishes" paradox was easy - first wish, "Anything I ever write down by hand that begins with 'And so it was that...' happens."
Well, of course most of my wishes would be toward bringing about tragedy and ruin to the human race... it's hard to have a tragic way of granting a wish for tragedy. I mean, really, how can you corrupt "I wish for the extinction of the human race?" Make them evolve in one generation into a new species?MONKEY'S PAW SCENARIO.

Harvest the human horn! You will accept your new horn, and you will like it.
Technically genies don't come naturally "captured," so really he'd be dealing with a bunch of incredibly powerful trickster spirits who don't have to grant him a damn thing.
