I'm getting screwed by Enterprise. My car was hit a few weeks back, and other guy's insurance paid for a rental car. Yesterday, I get a letter saying there was damage to the rental car, and that I'm responsible. I will go through any lie detector test or torture necessary to show that I in no way hit anything or was hit by anyone while I had that car. I dropped the car at the body shop as instructed. My theory is that it got hit at the body shop. Enterprise doesn't care. According to the contract I signed, it doesn't matter who, how, or why, if the vehicle is damaged outside of the custody of an agent, it's my responsibility. This is crap. I don't want to pay these damage. It wasn't my fault, and I don't feel like I should have to pay for it.
