Given that I'm a long-time wrestling fan and familiar with Ludvig Borga, I can only say...

NO!! FOR GOD'S SAKE, NO! I TAKE IT BACK! I TAKE IT ALL BACK! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, NOOOOOOO!!

Lots of great squeamish zombie work tonight. Happy to see Lori's predicament didn't necessitate a multi-episode arc. Rick's face at the closer was...confusing. Constipated?

Trying to convince him that Shane needs to GTFO and using whatever charms, or lack thereof she can. I think this season's climax is going to happen between Rick and Shane. Shane talks big and talks loud and in your face but when it comes down to the big decisions, he didn't make them like Rick does. When it comes to putting it all out of the open, Shane balked.

I really just hope we're not going to be on that farm any longer.

Will be interesting to see who'll be this new cast member but that whole scene where they were wasting ammunition shooting the dead really... reeeeallly annoyed me. I'd like a count on how many bullets they got left because they are very fucken liberal in using it.

For example, when they searched the guys they killed, big Tony only had what... 3-4 shells? I'd assume the other Phily guy didn't have a whole lot neither. Meanwhile, they are shooting at Z's from across the streets with shotguns and pistols where they are trying "an operation?"

That was pretty gory, but my favourite part was the zombie's face being tore off by the car windshield. (And secretly wishing that Lori would have her face eaten off)

Why would Rick save a stranger who tried to kill him? He made it clear to the first two in the bar "we don't have room for you at the farm". Now he brings this kid back to the farm? He's about as bright as his wife. I wish they'd do a spin off show with Daryl going solo traveling from town to town with his crossbow taking out the dead.

I'm almost 100% certain the reason they didn't invite the other two is because it was very apparent they were planning something right from the get-go. The other guys started shooting once they found out Rick and the others killed their friends. We don't know for sure if they were ALL planning to kill Rick's group... those two could have been the Shanes of the group. Besides... if you don't show a clear contrast between Rick and the other survivor groups, you really can't call him a "hero".

Really, the only stupid thing they did was waste all that ammo trying to save the guy. They should have ripped the leg out right from the get-go.

This was a hell of a lot better than the last few episodes. I mean, in terms of the whole episode, not just the last 10-15 minutes like the half-season finale and last week. Lots of great, tense, character development and we got a metric ton in zombies (in comparison to lately, aside from the barn).

So yeah, two big thumbs up and hoping they continue on this route. Darabont who?

I feel the budget cuts and the extra episodes that were ordered made it pretty apparent they were limiting the storyline this season. It was very clear to me after the first few episodes it would be "camping at the farm all season long, so let's see how these people survive with one another".

Truth be told, this season reminds me terribly of "The Killing" from AMC. Horribly dragged out with little to no character development, dragging viewers to watch from episode to episode for very minor storyline changes.

Mind you, the last episode was somewhat interesting and one of the better ones but man oh man have there been several snorefests this season... and we're what... halfway in season 2? How is this possible? And you're drudging along in the mud for storyline content? Some people want characters getting more backgrounds... I care about the action and progressing through things with whatever resources they got left, trying to survive in this world. Can I write for them in Season 3? Or are the dumb fucks in suits going to ruin another gold mine with poor decisions again?

What I see are fundamental flaws is watching people living in a world trying to survive by doing the most idiotic things possible... like driving one at top speed while looking at a map then freaking the fuck out when they hit a zombie and swerving out of control like a fucken noob.... or taking off for a drink leaving family and friends behind "oh i lost some dead lost ones, so here's me forsaking the rest like a hypocrite".... "let's perform battlefield surgery while we waste dozens of rounds picking off stray zombies... the writers won't take our ammo stores into account anyways, they are too busy writing down more Lori dialog".... "fuck you I won't listen at you and I'll shoot at someone at a distance even though we're waiting for someone to come back".

Color me unimpressed this season.

There's been some highs, I won't deny it... but man.... this could be so much more fucken better.

Spoiler alert-I'll try to keep it as generic as possible so not to ruin the series for anyone. The Walking Dead may or may not get picked up for a third season but if it does there may or may not be an actor cast who would possibly play a character from the comic who appeared somewhere in between issues 1 and 100.

Here comes ******

Oh, and the Lizard is the main villain in Spider Man.

Not much of a spoiler there. Not much in the article either. The <insert one of many characters that has appeared in the comic> has been mentioned many times in this thread. We all knew <Insert Adjective> show up and (Insert Noun> it would be <Insert Verb>. Spoiler free.:)

Ummmm... he definitely means his and I agree.

No spoilers of the show regarding who's cast, who's leaving, or whatever the fuck.

Talk about aired shows only please. :)

Guess I just don't see how a link to an article revealing a character (who has his own hardcover NOVEL out on shelves right now) exists is a spoiler. Especially not when giving away what happened in an episode that had only aired a few days prior is not.
Spoiler alert: Rick Grimes was a police officer before the plague hit.

That's not a spoiler as it's already been stated on an aired episode....
The Governor's existence was already stated on bookshelves across the world. The article says nothing of who the Governor is, what he does, when he'll appear or the circumstances leading to his introduction. It simply says "he is a character"

What's a "bookshelf"? ;)

Also the title "Governor" makes me think that someone with some major ties and possible safe houses/guards are with him. My expectations are raised now!

And just for clarity, I haven't read the comics far enough in to know who the character is, or read the book, or even the synopsis of the book, myself.
Maybe if I had, that would be a spoiler, because it would give away what is actually happening next season. But if you had read the comics or the book enough to know that, you've already spoiled far more for yourself.

If you haven't read the comics then you have no idea who The ***** is or how he is involved with the story which means nothing was spoiled. It would be no different is I said "Tim will be in the next season of The Walking Dead." For those of you who read the comic would go "holy shit, are you serious? Tim? That's going to be insane." For those of you who haven't would ask "who the hell is Tim?" I didn't see it any different than posting "The Joker is going to be the main villain in The Dark Knight or The Lizard is going to be the main villain in Spider Man." Now if I said "The Lizard kills Gwen Stacey in Spider Man" then I could understand the outrage.
Anywhoo I went back and fixed it.

Look, I'm not going to argue about something that was already stated firmly by staff many pages ago. Someone else kindly reminded others not put any spoilers and now folks are (re)familiar on how to discuss the TV show as it plays. That's it, that's all. Any references outside of the show could easily be posted in another thread that you can create or even better kept to one's self as people obviously have a problem shutting the fuck up about such things.

Being guilty of it myself, I'm not going to defend anyone for mentioning stuff from the comic.

That said, while they're following some of the strains from the comic, the show is quite honestly becoming something very different in its own right. They're following some of the basic templates, but they're creating many of their own stories. Which, oddly enough, I like about it.

Yeah, though it makes me dislike some characters a lot more than their comic counterparts. For one, Lori wasn't pants-on-head retarded in the comics. Woman, you are pregnant with a child and already have one who depends on you. You don't know how to handle a gun, drive like an idiot, and are prone to panicking. Running off to save your husband isn't empowering; it's stupid.
