Isn't that going a little far?
A lot of people feel deceived due to the difference between what the developers said the game would be, and what the game eventually turned out to be. They said the ending wouldn't be a simple choice between A, B, and C, but that's exactly what it was. There could be a false advertisement claim in there.

Good point. Guess they shouldn't have said that.

Part of me wants to call them whiny babies who need to get used to disappointment... but another part of me wants to see game developers/publishers finally held accountable for years and years of false advertisements. All the times that gamers have been lied to with bullshot, cut features, known bugs and all the other times developers/publishers have over-promised and under-delivered. When it comes to the function and mechanics of a game, why shouldn't companies have to deliver what they promise? I realize that artistically we can't hold games (or movies, or books) to being "The most visually stunning masterpiece I've seen this year - IGN Critic", it should be a given that if a game developer says "we will fully support 16 player online games" that the game won't ship only supporting 8 player games. The ending of ME3 falls somewhere in between, it's both an artistic choice and a gameplay mechanic, so I'm not sure how much Bioware/EA should be held accountable for, but the line has to be drawn somewhere.

A friend of mine just told me some of how Mass Effect 3 works. Like Yahtzee discussed in his review, there's the building of war assets and such. Which I think is a great idea.

However, what really bothers me is that you can only get maximum assets by playing the multi-player. Worse, apparently those assets earned in multi-player slowly drop unless you're playing it for a long period? So, first of all, what about people like myself who don't want to play the multi-player? Secondly, if you need to play it for a long period, what does that mean for casual players like myself? We have to settle for one of the lesser endings?

If all that is true, then that's bullshit. I'm not buying or playing this game anymore. Time to hit YouTube to see what this so-called controversial ending is all about.

You're welcome.

BTW, watch out for the awesome in this one. One of my fav's yet. Choose HD, watch it full screen.

Watching that, and hearing all of Garrus' dialogue and stuff makes me so sad that Bioware PISSED IT ALL AWAY... beacuse they truly made some compelling and memorable characters in the series.

So apparently the soundtrack we got in the collector's edition.... isn't even the full complete one. An extended version will be available...soon.

So a few reddit people got a few bucks together and decided to hire some Albertan bakery to make a few hundred cupcakes for Bioware. They are all vanilla flavored and have 3 colored toppings that taste the same.

What does Bioware do when they get it?

Donates it to charity.
