[TV] The What Anime Are You Watching Thread!

There's a manga?? Guess that's not too surprising since it's almost always manga then anime... I have to say though, I'm a little scared to look further into that!
Actually like most Gainax products, the manga was made AFTER the cartoon. Weird I know. This was I assume to keep the series going after the show's run was done.

Oh interesting! I don't watch enough anime or read enough manga to really know. :p All I knew is how anime is usually made after to help with sales of the manga. Any idea where I can find P&S??

Here's an oldie but a goodie:

Oddly enough, directed by Nabeshin director of Excel Saga who as usual has a character based on him IN the series who is called Angus in the American version. One of the few series he's directed where he hasn't voiced his own character in the original Japanese version.

Now that Black★Rock Shooter is over, I'm on the market for a new series. Any suggestions?

Also, second half of Fate/Zero starts up in a couple of weeks. That should be exciting. People should start dying soon (spoiler alert).

Well I would say Tokyo Pig, but they only got like 4-8 episodes on Youtube. Those DVD bastards get ya by the balls. Have you seen Tatami Galaxy? Trippy as aaaaaaaaaaaaall hell.

Looks like the Persona 4 Anime ended for the Summer, using the 2nd ending for the game... but with the True Ending getting a special in August. I've honestly been impressed with the adaption... yes, some characters don't get fully fleshed out and some stories are a little different, but the core story and ideology are there. Here's hoping the True Ending is awesome.

I've heard jokes that series is a lot like Jojo's bizarre adventure like how the personas are like the stands? I'm not sayin' its a bad thing that series inspired like a BILLION video games.

Just as a heads up, Williams Street has heard the fan outcry from the April 1st Toonami showing and is considering bringing it back in some form. So we may be getting a return of those awesome classic series in the future, or possibly having Saturday's CN Adult Swim block turned into Toonami or something.

I started Hare and Guu and I just...don't even..It's SO hilarious! But makes no sense. I just...Go watch it. Please. Right now. Find it somewhere and watch it.

Could that mean new imports? :)
We usually get a new import series once or twice a year from William's Street. Last Year we got Durarara!!! and that show about the kids defending the school. So yeah... it's entirely likely we'll hear what they are planning for this year around the same time. I suspect Panty and Stocking will be one of them.

I just watched the first episode of Medaka Box and it looks like it's going to be good. Second season of Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? is also starting strong. As for this past season's offerings, Daily Lives of Highschool Boys, Symphogear (it was alright), and Kill Me Baby were all worth watching.

Have you read the manga? I couldn't get into it, Medaka just felt really off-putting as a main character to me. Also it felt a little "X-meny" later on.

are any of those romantic comedies?

You know what I wish they had more of over here? Shin-chan. As man dirty jokes are in that show, I would let my kids watch it's that good.
