My guess is it will be yes. I expect them to hand down tough sentences today to set an example, deserved or no, before the playoffs get even more out of hand.

Also, I just keep trying to instinctively count Florida out of this series even though they're the higher seed, but apparently I'm not allowed to do that.

Need to see the video, but Twitter just blew up as Hossa was stretchered off.
(EDIT: Aw, crap. Stupid, STUPID and unnecessary by Torres. Left his feet to lay out Hossa, who didn't have the puck.)

I'm somewhat dumbfounded.

The game-winner in Detroit was the... I mean, you wouldn't even see that in Mighty-mite play... I mean, come ON... defenseman gives up on the play going up-ice, three guys all go with the puck-carrier into the zone and don't even LOOK behind them, and Erat flips this little pass to the oncoming defenseman... who has THE ENTIRE NET EMPTY IN FRONT OF HIM...

I'm sorry, but the Detroit Red Wings? They're done.

This has been an... interesting... night for the NHL.

I'm betting Torres is gone for rest of the series, possibly longer.

And Friday night at the Bridge is gonna be IN-sane.

HALIFAX WINS!

HALIFAX WINS!!

HALIFAX WINS!!!

After dropping the first 3 games to the Quebec Remparts, the Halifax Mooseheads have completed their remarkable comeback with a dramatic overtime goal in game 7 to clinch the series! Dragged into overtime on the strength of their captain Cameron Critchlow who scored all 4 of the Mooseheads regulation goals, Jonathan Drouin lifted a tasty rebound over the Quebec goalie for the overtime winner at 15 minutes into the extra stanza! The Quebec crowd is stunned! Patrick Roy is almost comatose as his heavily favoured Remparts head to the locker room.

:drunk:

Battle on the boards and the puck comes loose,
The defence falls back but it's just no use,
Charging down the wings turning on the juice,
Slap shot! Shoot! Score! You just can't stop the Moose!!!

Well, that just goes to show how little you know about strategy. Clearly, they were running a 10 man ride...with 6 guys.

yeah, they're done. :( Hell of a goalie you guys have there.

I figured they'd bounce back and win this one, but I didn't see it being this lopsided.
Unfortunately I'm not getting to actually SEE most of the game, as my roommate has control of the TV and is only flipping to it inbetween commercials on whatever it is she's watching. So I missed whatever the incident was that just got Rinaldo 24min of combined penalty minutes.

Cross-check to the face, then a punch to the head after the play was blown dead.

Not a good idea when the refs are calling everything tonight.
