Okay, this one is stolen shamelessly from Reddit but it blew my fucking mind.

You know those "Spot the Difference" type games? They are easy to beat. Just look at this...

Is this one of those things like - it is impossible to lick your own elbow... you just tried to lick your elbow, type things or what?

All I saw were blurs.

ok i got it to work.. but now i seriously need an advil...

Yeah, they become almost trivial once you do that. If I ever make such images I'm going to rotate them a little from each other to prevent people from doing it this way without folding or cutting the paper. Also to give cheaters a wicked headache...

Heh, I found the missing star and even the moonrune with the extra dot in the middle way easier than the differences in the barnyard.

And thus, your secret weakness revealed, your evil plans are thwarted by careful use of strobe lights and dubstep dancers.
Actually that would work IF I did long stares. Fast blinking helps in situations of repeating light even more so when you do it in time with the flashing.

"Why is she fluttering her eyebrows at me?" "She isn't, she's just getting ready to kill you. Run!"

Wow, I'm really good with the stereogram pictures and it never occurred to me to do this with these difference pictures.

++2 lateral thinking.

I'm also really good with stereograms, but I've been using this technique in "spot the difference" pictures for ages.

True story: Once, a few friends of mine were on a website where they have lots of these "spot the difference" pictures, and you can click on the differences, and once you catch all of them, you move on to the next pair of pictures. One girl was doing very well at them, but it was clear she wasn't using the eye-cross method. So I challenged her to a contest, each of us at our own computer, first to finish five sets of pictures wins. I did all five before she could finish the second one.

Pity I didn't bet money on it. Or a kiss, or something like that.

I remember an article about a guy who was really cleaning up on those bar games using this method.
Also, wasn't this how Pluto was originally discovered?

The creepy part is that he was challenging his sister.
