So for the last two semesters, my school district has increased our tuition costs by $10/unit each semester. This semester, it's going to be $49 per unit, last I heard. Being a full time student, I'm left with about $550 worth of fees that I need to pay out of my pocket..
But hey, that's what financial aid is for, right?? Not when you're living at home still, you're white, and middle class. I catch a break from working in the student bookstore, so I get some inside info on the cheapest books, but as far as grants or financial aid goes, I've been denied everything I've signed up for so far. Still, fingers crossed!
So here's the point: I have no business coming to you all asking for money, but I would love to offer my services. Need a drawing of a cute animal? I can do that! Want to see some flappy hooties? Got you covered! I'm not going to set prices, all I ask is that you donate 10 dollars or more for a drawing.
But that's not the limits of my skill! If you're interested, I'd be willing to make a video for you. What kind of video you ask? How about a story by Grandmother Bumble? Or maybe a puppet-esque video like the live action Alfie? Hell, I'll stand in front of the camera and wink at you for six hours if you want me to. A video will only be able to be done for donations of $40 of more... seeing as how they're not as easy to pump out as a drawing and I'd have to set aside more time than a drawing
These are simply guideline donation prices, and you can feel free to donate as little or as much as you want. Every bit will be appreciated.
So, that's my request. Give me a job! Not only a job, but a job I love to do. Entertain you folks!
