All 4 NJ goals in the third period though. I wasn't watching the game, but checked TSN and saw 1-0 in the first, checked again later, 1-0 in the second, checked again later, 1-0 Philly in the third. Final score, 4-1.

Guess they got screamed at inbetween 2nd and third period.

That's exactly how I was catching the game. Saw 1-0 early in the third, stopped paying attention to game center. Check back later and...yeah, I guess that happened. So much for my 4 game Philly sweep prediction!

That's actually the only reason I picked 6 games instead of 4 - can't win a sweep when your goalie lets in 4+ goals in 80% of the games.

Preds played real well without those guys. Could be the wakeup call the team needs or it could be a bucket of faceplam. Won't know until the game is played so why not be optimistic.

Since my prediction for PHI/NJ is completely FUBAR'd, I'm going back to rooting for meteor. Seriously, I hate both of these teams.

huh. I'm the only one who predicted more than one OT for Philly/ New Jersey. I only predicted 2 though. Hope there aren't any more.

Absolutely, you keep them benched.

With them you are 0-2 with morale issues.
Without them you are 1-0 with a super hot catfish collecting girl.
Also since Country Bitch wasn't at the game the other night, you need to ban her from all future games.

I'd say bring 'em back, with severely cut ice time. Let them prove themselves again. If the suspension was for "one game", you give them "one game" the whole idea behind suspending them was to demonstrate consistency in the team rules. You can't then be inconsistent handing out your suspensions. Or you become Shanahan.

Obviously though, you talk to the team before hand. If the morale issues in the locker room really are that bad, you keep 'em out of the lineup, and if possible try to work a trade in the off season.

I'll take two guys who desperately want to be there with ok skills over two superstars who believe that they deserve to be there regardless of their behaviour. If you allow them back with limited ice-time you are wasting two slots on the roster.
