All I gotta say...
Agent Phil Coulson went out like a effin' BOSS
I loved how he knew exactly how to get under Loki's skin, even as he lay dying. "You'll lose... It's in your nature."

I'm confused by this headline, it's still early Sunday afternoon on the East Coast.$200.3 million opening weekend haul!:
'Avengers' Opens to Record Shattering $200.3 Million
They use estimates to come up with the weekend total. Usually it's a fairly accurate projection, though they sometimes make mistakes.I'm confused by this headline, it's still early Sunday afternoon on the East Coast.
Yes, the article states it's domestic only.Is that just domestic? Because they already made close to that overseas before its North America release. I think around $175 or so.
As much as I'd love to see it, I think Joss admitted that he's moved on.So now maybe Joss will have enough cachet to bring back Firefly?

Not to mention Nathan Fillion. As much as I'd love to see it, I think Joss admitted that he's moved on.
It's actually a bit more than that -- $441 million. With the domestic box office added in, it's already well past the half billion mark worldwide. (via Box Office Mojo)Is that just domestic? I was actually wondering idly if any Middle-Eastern restaurants or meal carts near the theaters saw bigger business than usual on Fri-Sat-Sun.Google Trends result for shawarma
Don't forget the new films of Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, The Inhumans and Guardians of the Galaxy.I will fucking be there.
And I'll be there next year for Thor 2 and Iron Man 3, and in 2014 for Captain America 2. I am loving these movies and I love what Marvel is doing with them.
Is that the next Microsoft release?THAN-MOTHERFUCKING-OS!
I meant to post this earlier:- I would have preferred the Hulk not suddenly becoming good and under control, but whatevs. I think the movie would have been more interesting with them having to deal with a rampaging Hulk after they won the day from Loki.
I can live with that for sure. Like I said, I really liked the movie. That's just not the Hulk I've known over the last 15 or so years of comics but that's probably more my problem with having so much preconception of the character from other media.I meant to post this earlier:
I took Hulk's more cooperative nature to be a reflection on Banner choosing to turn into the Hulk for once instead of fighting it. Almost as if accepting that the Hulk is a part of him instead of just being "the other guy" gave him more control.
