Quick while playing great is suffering from Dydenitis. That is slipping out of the game mindset while his team spends so much time on offence. The forechecking last night was amazing. Smith played almost a minute without his stick because the Kings would not relent.

The thing with Quick is that there hasn't been a game yet these playoffs where he hasn't been excellent or better. Brown's been amazing too, but there have been a couple games where he hasn't had a huge impact, and you can't say that about Quick.

Some goalies actually play better without their stick than they do with it. I think Jacques Plante actually did that in the 1960's, before they made a rule outlawing it. In some situations, he'd toss his stick down and it'd act like a blocker in the crease.

Kinda wondering about Osgood vs Quick tonight. Osgood to me had a fantastic career but shunned the spotlight so much that all the credit gets taken away from him and given to the team he played with. Quick is playing great but is not making the highlight reel saves that favour votes for the Conn Smythe. He's every coach/GMs dream; a goalie that is great in net and reasonable.

So we're talking, not even the "Premiere" level quality, but slightly better than the "replica" (silk screened) ones.

And they are promoting that they are selling only the best league quality sweaters as made by Reebok, but on the very few sweaters that show the inside collar, the Reebok tag is not the right tag.

Several of them say CCM. But yeah, it looks like they're Chinese knock-offs.

Not so, jwhouk, it looks as though New Jersey's poised to win this game, which means the series is going at least to 6. So, in 13min I could cross off HCGLNS and BErt's # of games predictions.

Actually it hasn't shifted all that much really. But Vrii and BErt both made big leaps, amd Timmus has fallen a bit.

If LA's opponent in the final is lucky LA will have home ice advantage, they are lousy at home, but perfect on the road.

I think this is the first time any team has defeated the #1, #2 and #3 ranked teams in succession.

It's not possible. LA is the lowest seed left in the playoffs.
