Okay, maybe not Duper, but definitely Super.

You know the thread where I was talking about promoting our Improv Comedy Troupe? Well, you get to help out and win a great prize!

The contest:

Design a saying for our comedy troupe - W.I.T. (Workhouse Improve Troupe) - that we could fit on a bumper sticker or T-shirt! Examples could be: "Get WIT it!" or "To Whit: WIT!"

Rules:

  • Anyone can put in as many entries as they want.
  • Judging will be done by our entire comedy troupe.
  • Contest closes midnight on May 18. A winner will be chosen over the weekend of the 19-20.
  • Winner will get a free WIT T-shirt!

How about classing this joint up with some Shakespeare: "Brevity is the soul of WIT." or another paraphrased: "By and by WIT will strike."

Or J.K. Rowling: "WIT beyond measure is man's greatest treasure." (that's high praise!)

Took the info to the group this morning and we have a winner!

SeraRelm wins with the big "FUCK YOU!" to Nike with...."Just Do WIT!"

It was a tie with PatrTom's "WIT or GTFO". I really liked that one but a couple of things made it in Sera's favor. #1) WIT or GTFO was too obscure for some of our audiences. #2) If Nike sues us it's free pub. We'll cease and desist, but we'll have fun doing it! (Personally I think it's a bad idea, but I was outvoted.)

So Sera wins a WIT T-shirt and our next promotion will have "Just Do WIT!" on it.

But here's the kicker: We've decided that out next T-shirts (which we can't afford to do yet!) will include a whole BUNCH of these! We're going to have a list of them on the back like a concert tour will little sayings after them. When we get those or bumper stickers made I'll let you know.
