Nintendo conference today at 9am PST.What i want to know is if they announced the Wii U specs... 2GB of RAM min pls, pretty pls with cherries on top...
Seriously, RAM is dirt cheap right now and i don't mind the graphics being behind the curve because of consoles, just makes me able to use my original video card longer, but the lack of processing power leads to really annoying consolitis stuff...
That means nothing to me...PST.
Beta weekend this week ain't enough?Any news on Guild Wars 2?
Ubisoft has the most God awful DRM ever invented. People's issues with Ubisoft are entirely founded. My ability to sympathize with people complaining about Ubisoft after the shit shoveled on us by EA/Biowhore/Microsoft the last year.
So, I shall dare say.... while I'll be playing this game and happily telling them where I live, who I am, how big my dick is... and it'll be big because that fucking game will make me happy in the pants.
Aisha Tyler was ok, but that other guy she was saddled with might have been the worst presenter Ubisoft has found to date. How they keep continuing to outdo themselves with shitty presenters year after year is amazing.MS's showing? Shit. EA? Shit.
Ubisoft? Awesome.
Wait... Ubisoft? What kind of bizzarro world is this?
Ubisoft was the only presentation that looked like it was meant to appeal to gamers rather than stockholders. And it contained the word "girlwood" so, you know, bonus points.
War of Cybertron is a pretty fun game I just finally picked up recently, but I am having issues playing it right now thanks to Steven Blum. Silly, I know, that a voice actor would make me not want to play a game, but I somehow found myself playing a few games in a row that have him as a main voice actor, the one right before WoC being WH: DoW2, in which he voiced Cyrus. After hearing him recently in the Avengers Cartoon as Beta Ray Bill, I think I became Steven Blum-ed out.The next game I'm really looking forward to is Fall of Cybertron. I loved the hell out of War for Cybertron.
"So Reggie, how did you like being the puppetmaster?"Welp, Nintendo was mostly gimmick shit.
Surprise Surprise
This is my concern. That bit was amazing, but seemed so scripted. I'm curious what happens if your actions deviate from that, if there's still so much interaction and context-sensitive dialogue.I want to see how The Last Of Us REALLY plays. But it looks pretty sweet.
Sold!LOOK IT'S USHER
When I see videos like that, I get a laugh imagining how clumsily I would pull off the same thing, mashing buttons all the way. This is my concern. That bit was amazing, but seemed so scripted. I could actually see the strings with Watch Dogs. He couldn't stayed in the art show, for example, or waited for DeMarco to pull up, or use other hacking stuff. It helped that more of the UI was shown to us with that one.I wonder the same thing, as it's also what I'm curious about with Watch Dogs. Both looked amazing, with some sweet options to interact with your surroundings along with interesting context-sensitive events. However, how much of that will be in the final product compared to generic third-person fistfights/cover shooting is what I really want to know.
I don't have a PS3 . It looked awesome though. I was impressed by what appeared to be unscripted assists by the daughter.I must be one of the few people out there that's not honestly that excited for The Last of Us. Does it look great? Abso-fucking-lutely.
But here's my beef: if you were to replace the main character with Nathan Drake and throw in some quips, it would be almost interchangeable with an Uncharted game. The close-quarters combat and duck/cover gunplay looks almost identical.
