I agree with Nick on the Talia reveal. I actually called that she was Talia when he saw the scar on her back after they got busy in Wayne Manor.
The twist that it was HER that escaped the prison, rather than Bane did catch me by surprise.
Oh, and
ThatNickGuy , They did explain why he needed the breather. He was disfigured while helping Talia escape, leaving him in constant pain. Why the mask alleviates the pain, they didn't get into, but the doctor did say that the mask did that. They even showed him wrapped in bloody bandages when Ra's and Talia took back the prison.
And boy, did that Cracked article about Nolan laying the plot for the entire trilogy in The Prestige turn out to be spot on. They even called Joseph Gorden Lovett being "robin" and taking over the mantle of the bat.
Scarecrow cameos were AWESOME, though something with the fear gas would have been cool.
Glad to see that Liam Neesen came back to reprise Ra's Al Ghoul. The way they incorporated Bane into that mythos was great.
