No kidding right? I mean, people FAWNED over this guy. I can think of a lot of artists who exaggerate stuff for stylistic purposes, hell look at the amazing Kelly Jones, but the fact is guys like KJ know their anatomy and how the body moves and works before they exaggerate for style. Liefeld just... gah.

She released that album right after all this stuff happened. The timing was just criminally stupid. Also, she obviously has a boatload of issues she needs to work out.
I really wish you wouldn't bandy around rape comparisons like that, it makes it appear as if you're trying to paint me as some sort of abuse apologist and I find that to be both beneath you and distasteful to say the least.
Her album has been in production BEFORE this happened, I believe. A record label is just not going to tell you "Forget it, let's do something safer right now." If that's how they did it Chris Brown would never have another record ever, if you've seen the content of HIS songs since.
As for the rape thing, I agree that it is crass...but it's also true. It isn't meant to paint you as an apologist, it was merely meant to offer some perspective. If a person wants to slapped in the bed room that doesn't mean they want to be slapped in a moment of anger.
Also, I just had this thought, if she did write the songs of her album...she most certainly should NOT have let this effect her. That's caving to fear of not only her abuser but of the public...and no person should have to feel that way.
