I take that back - they added it to the analog channels but not the HD ones. So I'll be able to watch it!!! Now all I have to do is get caught up on the current shows. I'm on...let's see...episode 176 - 2006 Series 2. I'm a bit behind.

Amazing. This was a right proper season opening.

Saw the twist coming, but goddamn if the sad Dalekvoice wasn't breaking my heart. Keep dreaming, soufflégirl.

that was pretty awesome.

and the daleks 'trying to get in' suddenly makes things a lot creepier. that was them trying to get inside *her head*. brr.

AWESOME episode and a great way to kick off the season. Thoughts behind the spoiler.


I figured there would be some kind of surprise with Oswin, but given what we'd seen earlier in the episode (and with Amy), I was expecting another converted human. Loved the reveal we got, though, and second twitchmoss thought about the Dalek's trying to get in being extra creepy. I especially loved at the end where the Daleks had forgotten him. Fucking brilliant.

Line of the whole episode? "SUCKERS!"

Hell, I bet the Doctor had it planned all along where the teleport was going. So Rory and Amy were never in any danger if they teleported. They probably know enough Tardis flying to get it home or at least relatively close; or the Tardis could have flown them.

Now it'll be interesting to see if the "Doctor WHO?" thing will be at the end of nearly every episode. From what I've heard, every episode this season will be self-contained and treated like a big-budget movie. But that "Doctor WHO?!" thing is still there, so that will likely be an ongoing theme.

A friend and I are now theorizing that the whole "Doctor Who?" and "Silence will Fall" scenario will wind up working out as The Doctor makes the Daleks remember him and this somehow leads to the Daleks wiping out The Silence.
