I finally broke down and upgraded my iPhone to a 4s. Within 3 days I drop it and crack the screen. Within a month I am getting the "Safari Can Not Load the Page Because the Server is Not Responding" bug where basically my internet never works.
So. You know. Soooo happy I bought a new phone that is no better than my old phone. Seriously. I went from Edge network to 4g, and I can now barely load pages on the 4G. Apple says the problem is from ATT. ATT says the problem is from Apple.
Sick of it. I'm pretty sure it's actually Apple's fault. The network is up, I can make calls just fine, but there's something screwed up with how the phone is accessesing the datastream. BUT GOD FORBID APPLE EVER ACCEPTS RESPONSIBILITY FOR A PRODUCT FAILURE. This issue has been going on since 2007 and there has yet to be a resolution in the OS.

It's tempting, but I really dislike the Android app marketplace management, and I don't entirely love their UI. Plus there are just a lot of really bad android phones out there (hardware wise). I generally dislike Apple's whole "It just works all in one box" attitude when it comes to desktops, but it fits really well with my phone.
I just get really frustrated at how hard it is to research problems on the OS when compared to other products. There are very few resources for diagnosing problems with your equipmetn other than taking it into a "Genius" and hoping that he is having a good day.
Honestly what gets me the most with apple is their complete lack of transparency. Getting them to admit to any problem in their equipment is close to impossible, and they lock down any discourse they can on it. But....with the huge grain of salt that leaves on the table, I do still think that the iPhone is a better piece of equipment than Androids

It does depend on which phone you buy, much like your windows performance depends on which PC you buy. Buy a shitty one, have a shitty experience. Get a Samsung (Galaxy S3 for example) or HTC and.. don't.
But no matter what flavor you get, I can tell you having had to help people here set up their iphones and android phones, that every single android has gone smoother and had less bullshit go wrong.
I'm still using my Motorola droid 1. It's old, it's slow, it's got no ram and miniscule internal storage... but I would still never trade it for an iphone, because I've got it set up to do what I want it to do, how I want it to do it. I've got the ability to use remote desktop to control most of my computers, VNC the rest, stream 720p content from my home media PC to my phone (or tablet for that matter), skype, ventrilo, ftp, access windows shares via wlan, VPN, etc etc etc. Plus, of course, the standard suite of google apps like translate, maps, and navigate, and the icing on the cake is I can also load non-appstore apps. That's how I got flash player, Kongregate, and a number of other apps as well (though flash is being discontinued unfortunately, Adobe's call on that). And having rooted my phone, I can overclock, wirelessly tether (over wifi OR bluetooth), run custom roms, install a system-wide adblocker that affects apps as well as browsers (and trickles down to any tethered devices! HA!)... It's just better for all the same reasons that PCs are better than macs

No matter the circumstance, it is always amazing what you can accomplish when you really know and understand the tools you use.

Well, full disclosure... if you're doing ALL THAT at the same time, you're going to have to reboot your droid about once a day. It's the one thing that drives me up the wall about it. But I'm pretty sure it's because I have a droid 1, which only has like 128 megs of ram. The newer ones shouldn't have that problem, especially the samsung galaxy S series and the HTCs.
GasBandit I got a Galaxy Nexus in January or February, so I'm sitting pretty good re: hardware. Still waiting on JellyBean though. The world of rooting, and complete utilisation of my Droid has eluded me, though it's largely my fault I haven't just made time to sit around and poke at stuff to see what I can learn. Maybe it's what I'll spend my weekend doing.
The nexus is a "developer" (read: pure android) phone, which makes it a breeze to root, customize, and tinker with. Brunt that it's a popular developer device, you can even find automated tools that can do the hard stuff for you, so it's just a matter of downloading what you wasn't and running the installer. Though, I still recommend following tutorials in how to do it the manual way, as it will teach you much about your phone and how it works

Hearing a pretty girl use her flirty, you're-so-hot-pay-attention-to-me voice on some other guy sucks. It sucks even if you're not into that girl. I'll count myself lucky that I enjoy the friendly relationship I do have with said girl, but the reminder that I haven't had any girl show romantic interest in me for a long time is rough.

I suck at debates and discussions on social issues such as religion, racism, sexuality and sexism issues, and everything else you can think of that people in society usually debate about when they want to talk about something serious. I suck because I am unable to clearly and concisely convey my opinion and as such am overwhelmed by people smarter, more logical and more emotional than me (or alternatively; people more stubborn and louder than me), because I end up not knowing what to say without sounding simple-minded. Yet somehow I keep finding myself in these discussions because there's pretty much nobody in my circle of friends who has an opinion similar to mine and somebody has to put it forward, right? I mean, I've already been reprimanded for my apathy numerous times, so obviously I have to say something. And people seem to think I'm a smart guy, but if I were, surely I would be better at these things, because being smart means you have a way to apply your intellect, right? Right.
Tl;dr: It's frustrating when what's in your head and what comes out of your mouth doesn't match up even though you want it to.
