I wrote this for Dave last year but I don't think many people saw it, so I'm gonna plagiarize myself now:

Today's the birthday of dear Dave,
Who's wise, and kind, and cool, and brave.
We celebrate to honor him,
And take the chance to misbehave.

We tell jokes and call him old,
And say he's lived his life tenfold
Like he was born when stars were hot
And have since then turned dark and cold

But jest aside, if not for he,
Who knows where our forum'd be?
And so this day we say to Dave,
Thank you Dave, we adore thee!

We make all these jokes about how old Dave is, but we don't actually know. I say we stop making jokes until someone finally cuts him down and counts the rings.
