Wyrmrest Accord WoW Guild Sexy Fun Time.

Awesome!

Also, fuck black trillium and it's non existence. I have a stack and a half of white. Never seen a black. Person. I live in Canada.[DOUBLEPOST=1350889857][/DOUBLEPOST]YES, your sub 30 FPS is the best thing. Awesome world PVP! Hundreds of times more fun than arenas or bullshit botted out battlegrounds.

I am 1000% with you on the Trillium. It's rare enough to find a node, but then to have to get each color? Ugh. Making my upper end Engineering items was hella annoying.

Note: Those were not my screenshots. I don't use mods :( However, those kinds of fights ARE amazing.

Yeah, I've got enough harmony things but I am severely lacking in trillium for my engineering stuff. Making mist-piercing goggles for guildies is lame. I want my wormhole generator. And I don't want to pay 2000 gold in trillium to get it.

Oh, and one last thing. I dig the Yoagooooallllpoo, whatever, the evil Tauren bison guys. About time we had something (other than the little bit of Grimtotems) Tauren to beat the shit out of.

I have actually found more black trillium than white. I've made a grand total of 6 bars. Gave 1 to Squids and I have the other 5 in my bags.

Bah, hit a wall with my leatherworking until I get to the area where I can buy new recipes.

Also, cooking is CRAZY. I actually like it.

Mastering ALL the -Ways- without buying materials (all farming your own crops) is actually a very comforting and nicely paced way to do it. I had many guild mates spend a good 10-15-20kg in the first week to max out their cooking and I'm sitting here thinking -Congrats, now what?- and I'm just sitting back and growing crop patches that give me 2-3 skill ups a day (at 5pts per skill up) and enjoying the pace very much. I actually just hit 600 Way of the Brew today.

Guys don't bitch about black trillium. Just don't. I bitched about it for days and now all I ever get is black and no white. For at least the last week.

However, I have 2 alchemists, so I don't give a shit about trillium nodes anymore, I just transmute my piles and piles of ghost iron. :p

I literally minutes ago found a rich trillium vein that gave me 5 white trillium. I was so mad.

So, I made my goggles.

With the dragonling trinket, the goggles are far, far, far worse than the Headless Horseman helmet.

Big bummer.

A trinket that gives 600 to three stats and unleashes a dragonling that does decent dps, or one that gives 500 to a stat and gives 1500 mastery once in a while. The quest trinkets don't even compare.

Squids made me one of those dragon things. 600 mastery, 600 stam & 600 (I think) hit. I love the thing.

By the time you're done with the zone quests in Dread Wastes you'll replace the Dragonling with a better trinket. For the record, a trinket that procs 1200 mastery with a solid up time will always be better than a trinket with 600 mastery and 600 crit. (Fyi that's just an example of how the proc trinkets work better than the Dragonling.)

Dragonling is great to get you through the questlines but it's definitely not a top end trinket you'll keep over the Engineering helm. About the only thing the Dragonling is good for is hitting the Hit/Expertise cap but having that on your Helm is just as effective.

Just a bit more indepth info:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=81133 (Better for healers than Dragon)
http://www.wowhead.com/item=81138 (Better for STR dps)
http://www.wowhead.com/item=81181 (Better for Dodge tanks)

etc

Again Dragonling is fantastic to get you to the Level 90 cap and into your Heroics but does not replace the Engineer Helm.

A trinket that gives 600 or so of one secondary stat and 1800 20 seconds every 2 minutes is not better than 3 600 secondary stats and decent aoe damage but of course a heroic trinket will be better, it's 13 ilevels higher.

Also, have you looked at the Horseman's Helm? The strength on it is equal to raid gear. It's way overbudgeted for strength. It's weakness is it's underbudgeted for stamina.

In other words, it has the Strength of an i492, secondary stats just under an i463, and the Stamina of an i440.

The massive strength on it (and the added gem slot that the engineering goggles don't have) make it a tough choice. You lose out slightly on some secondary stats and it has a lot less stamina, but has over 100 strength more (even more with an orange gem in the yellow gem slot).

I'm pretty sure the valor point helm is better than the goggles. So it'll be good until you do a few weeks of dailies, but not BiS.
Not even close. The Valor helms are Revered Shado-Pan faction. That requires way way more than a few weeks. Since you have to complete your Golden Lotus faction before you can even begin to start Shado-Pan dailies.

Honestly I hadn't looked at the horseman helm as I don't wear plate but if it's that good, by all means use the Dragon Trinket :) I was more speaking on the fact that the Engineering helm is alot better than the dragon trinket as there are better trinkets out there but not better Helms (outside this world event item)

It just bums me out fierce that I wasted as much money as I did on the living steel. I could have made Blingtron with that shit.

I'm about to hit revered today. It took me a few weeks. As long as you go through Townlong Steppes when leveling, you start your dailies at nearly honored. :p

Revered with Golden Lotus or with Shado-Pan because I can't fathom how you'd already have Golden Lotus and Shado Pan maxed.

I also have Shado-Pan at near Honored but my Golden Lotus isn't Revered yet.

I'm wearing both the goggles and the trinket right now.[DOUBLEPOST=1351009108][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm only a few trillium bars away from my Blingtron :)

Golden Lotus has been revered for a week, Shado Pan hitting revered today. :p I might actually end up being just short on Shado-Pan, but my point still stands. I'm not going to bother pushing for exalted on anything but Tillers and Cloud Serpent until 5.1 when I get double rep.

But my original point was that goggles are far from BiS.

I usually default to proc gear in general over use gear. I already have enough shit on my spell bars with them getting rid of the totem calls with Shaman.

Also, FYI, the Ascendence(or whatever it's called) spell is AWESOME. The transformation that it does to stormstrike does, like triple damage.
