PS3 still waiting on Dawnguard.
PS3 still waiting on Dawnguard.
That post didn't give that impression at all. They're having difficulties with it, but they are investing time in it, which would be stupid if they never plan on putting it out.
It does say they've been working on it. It also says it's a problem they aren't certain they can solve, that they are doing what they can but it may not ever get fixed. That post didn't give that impression at all. PS3 software is notoriously wonky, so hopefully at some point they'll get it done. The PS3 is a powerful system, and we're working hard to deliver the content you guys want. Dawnguard is obviously not the only DLC we’ve been working on either, so the issues of adding content get even more complicated. This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content.
You've seen some fucked up va-jay-jays my friend.
Yes, god forbid anyone try to build excitement for a product.Teasing the announcement of DLC.
Hate this fucking industry.
Announcing that you're going to be announcing something is fucking ridiculous.Yes, god forbid anyone try to build excitement for a product.
I will now! Holy heck that looks cool!Does anyone haver the Vilja mod installed?
I just got the PS3 version for Christmas. Water still locks the game, apparently. Happened twice so far today. It seemed to be a widespread problem, but it depended on your data cache. It was also fixed in the next patch.
My wife and I always cringe when there's a new patch. The pre-Dawnguard one didn't seem to introduce any problems.
Why is this not in the Steam Workshop?!?Does anyone haver the Vilja mod installed?
p muchSo, seriously? This is the thing that is pissing us video game nerds off today?
<sigh> Looks like it. The UESPwiki patch page shows the most recent update being released to PCs on 11/1/12, and Xbox on 11/16/12, and the latest version of SKSE is compatible with 1.8.151.0, while the current Skyrim build is 1.8.151.0.7.I'm having problems too, but it's with my game getting stuck in the loading screens. Did Skyrim recently patch so it's just the modders catching up?
I think when I play Skyrim again it's going to be the one with the different starting paths instead of the Dragonborn at the execution one. It's so much better when you write your own path I think.I doubt I'm gonna get to see any DLCs until they release a GOTY edition someday.
Been playing off an on with an Orc warrior-type. Recently got in trouble with everyone in Markarth. I sent my lady-love, an Orc from one of their fortresses, off ahead so she'd be safe. Escaped on a stolen horse, killed a dragon while being attacked by Imperials, my bounty going up every minute. When I climbed out of a river, I ran into a courier, delivering me inheritance from a dead loved one--the Orc lady I sent on my way.
Now I'm headed to Whiterun, to get the Companions help in vengeance--killing everyone in Markarth that can die.
It is. I didn't hit Whiterun and get the dragons started until mid-20s for this character and I had a lot of fun immersing myself in the world, letting what happened to my character affect how he would react to later situations. An Arkay priest in Falkreath helped him and the altar healed three diseases I'd somehow accumulated at once, so now he's willing to help anyone involved with Arkay. The Forsworn have hounded him relentlessly since leaving Falkreath, so they're on his shitlist along with the Thalmor. And as stated above... Markarth will burn. I only even popped over to start the dragons because having the dragons around is fun, but I couldn't care less about the main quest at this point. Skyrim itself is the real joy.I think when I play Skyrim again it's going to be the one with the different starting paths instead of the Dragonborn at the execution one. It's so much better when you write your own path I think.
