Test results are back in. I do NOT have testicular cancer.
I went for some tests after finding a lump and having severe pain. White cells were elevated so more testing. Got a testicular ultrasound today, which is just as fun as it sounds.
Turns out I have viral epididymitis, which is an infection of a cord that wraps around the testicles. This is common for guys and brings pain, swelling, and lumping as the white cells attack the infection and the area hardens. SO I can let out a sigh of relief. No cancer here. But man was that scary.

Remember when we had that awesome show and then followed it up with complete crap - not because of us but because of the crowd? Well, we went back there tonight and had another super awesome goodtime show, aaaaaaaw yeah!
Funny part is, my wife didn't go to the first one, went to the second and didn't go tonight! D'oh! But yeah, I'll have video of that one in a couple days. It was excellent.

This may seem like plugging, but I don't care, I'm happy about it.
I wasn't comfortable with the pricing for the paperback of my novel, but it had to be marked up to get into Barnes & Noble, and while I had nixed that option for a while, I realized I needed it if it was going to ever be available for people to order in-store.
Today I discovered that Barnes and Noble then slashed the price themselves down from $15 to $8.29
. That is a huge relief to me and I get to stop feeling like a jackass for marking it up. I guess this is a sales tactic. I just know it's less than on Amazon, which is a surprise to me. Was a nice thing for me to find out this morning.

One of my doomweasels came out of pancreatic surgery with flying colours and is recovering nicely. She's getting her appetite and energy levels back and she'll likely not have to be on prednisone in a couple of weeks.

Tonight, he played in his first concert with the advanced honor students after blowing through the beginners and intermediate lessons within 6 weeks. They played Dual of the Fates (Star Wars Ep 1), Medley of Horror themes (Saw, Halloween, Jaws) and Seven Nation Army. Humble as ever, he didn't brag once... he didn't have to... I was showering praise on him every second after he was done. I'm a proud dad tonight.
