[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

I don't know if I want to watch the movie/series/whatever, but I am sure looking forward to blasting the soundtrack.

I really like the books, but even after seeing the trailer I'm not convinced that they can be turned into any kind of decent tv show. I can only imagine half hour interludes to explain all the concepts to the audience and people giving up on it when they still don't understand what the hell is going on.

The trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire seems to be even more full of spoilers than usual, I'd advise not watching it if you already know you want to see the movie.

Wicked: Meh. I'm not that into it but everyone at the party I was like were all, "Oh god! A black wicked witch?!?" You know she's not real, right? Yes, they were all pretty far right wing. You should have heard them during "Lift Every Voice and Sing". Ugh.

Twisters: Completely unnecessary. Not gonna pay a thing to watch it.

The Fall Guy: Based on the terrible TV show with Lee Majors? lol. And pass.

Kung Fu Panda 4: Jack Black in it? Yes? Should be fine.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes: I haven't seen most of the rest of them. They seem like fine enough movies, but not my cup o' tea.

And you guys missed another movie that I probably won't watch just because I haven't seen the rest of them. A Quiet Place: Day One.

I know that movie versions of stage musicals have had a somewhat mixed record, but... damn I want Wicked to be good.
It has Ariana Grande in it, it’s already deep in the pitch count against it. I just find her to be insufferable. Maybe she can pull it off, I’ll be comparing her to Kristen Chenowith in my head, but I’m not inclined to give her a chance. I don’t care what color the wicked witch is, as long as she’s got the musical chops to make a good showing of her part.
