Chernobyl Diaries The shots of Pripyat looked awesome in their abandoned majesty, but otherwise this film was pretty damn forgettable, not to mention foreseaable in its plot. You just knew everyone was just going to fuckin' die.

For me, Avatar can be summarized in these words: "giant space Smurfs". On the subject of spoof movies, the Nostalgia Critic offered a worthwhile video on the subject. To which I pretty much agree. I miss the good, old-fashioned spoof movies á la Airplane and the first two Naked Guns.

To me, the big problem is that Anita Sarkesian's style of argumentation seems to be a rehash of the old and debunked "violent video games make you kill people" argument. Okay, she throws in a half-ass admittance of that at the end, but she just frickin' spent the entire video arguing that video...

We haven't. But like the beauty of a venomous spider's web, the knowledge that its creator is a bile-spewing monster does not diminish the aesthetic pleasure derived from his secretions creations.
