The real boss move would be to just do the rest on the dl, and just release them all at once.i feel like ending on cell is fair, they want to have business relations with these companies, its to bad that the TOEI overlords couldnt see to let them see it to an end, but they also seem to say they really are done with it all so meh
because they are now a professional dubbing company they can no longer chance pissing off their clienteleThe real boss move would be to just do the rest on the dl, and just release them all at once.

I thought this was really good:
I really like how "If you're going to use a reference as a metaphor, you need to etc" is this one's "You're not dealing with the average Saiyan warrior."Beastars (S1) in 8 Minutes
Beastars (S1) in 8 Minutes
And they didn't even show the super jazzy actual opening credits!...why did I just watch Zootopia After Dark?
If you want to feel better about it, it's not just you. I haven't watched their stuff in a while. I'm honestly surprised that they can make stuff with Dragonball without getting flagged on YouTube.
I've been watching TeamFourStar's HFIL series. After the finished Dragonball Z Abridged, I actually unsubscribed from them, mostly because I wasn't interested in their top 10s, reviews, podcasts, etc. Some of their DBZ shorts were...okay.
And honestly that's about where I feel about HFIL, too. I can't put my finger on what it is, exactly. The computer animation isn't bad for an amateur studio. The voice acting is top notch as always. But while there are some zingers, I find the overall pacing just isn't as good as DBZA. For all the talent they have, I guess I expected something original to be better than this? I can't put my finger on what exactly is wrong with it. It's not BAD, necessarily. It's just kinda dull.
It likely has to do with not using the original animation. For these shorts, they've been using their own animation, which probably helps shirk at least automated copyright claims. If you want to feel better about it, it's not just you. You would think so, but that didn't stop Toei Animation from constantly attempting to tank TeamFourStar's channel. Also, it's a parody, which is protected, and without the animation it's likely way easily defended in a shorter time, so the right owners won't bother spending the money on the lawyers.
The "new" story still relies on making established characters more ridiculous, so i wouldn't agree with that myself.it is reusing existing characters and established settings to tell a new story, so it may not actually be as protected as straight up parody.
Yeah, i was not disagreeing with that.they avoid YouTube's automatic copyright triggers, which is half the battle.
It pretty much is.I've never seen this show, the 8 minute version makes it seem like it's just a reskinned Naruto.
