If I remember correctly they mentioned that the door was shut and she fell into the tub. TV physics aside, its possible that she may have had that split second to get into the tub.

The tub thing was a bit of a stretch, I have to say. But that was a great episode.

GODDAMMIT, though! Why haven't Castle and Beckett fucked yet?! This tension is driving me crazy!

Because like Moonlighting (for those of you old enough to remember that) the tension is more fun than them as a couple. Were they to get together it would cease to be cute and start to be a soap opera where they had to resolve their physical and emotional differences or issues. Look at House or Bones. These shows are at their best when there's a hint of something rather than a full-blown love affair.

It'll happen but I think that'll be when the show is either ending or jumping the shark.
