Aw yeah! And they had a three-way with Lanie at Montgomery's funeral.

That's hilarious. They start off the review with, essentially, "castle is a stupid show with a flawed premise thats only good for a quick laugh if you turn your brain off" and they review the last episode by saying, "yep. Still stupid. Ok, if you like that kind of stuff. I guess."
I was thinking fake-out too, like they did before on Bones. My prediction: She was wearing a vest and is perfectly fine. They faked her "death" so that the assassins would think they were off the trail. Then the evidence that Montgomery sent out will quickly resolve the mother murder in the first episode of the next season and it'll be back to light-hearted murder fun.
I disagreed with a lot of the review, and I agree with your assessment that it dismisses it as stupid, then goes on to explain why it fits in the box its made for it. BUT... I do agree with the review in that the dark tone shift almost wrote Fillion out of the episode. And I agree that the "cliffhanger" was not especially great: she isn't dead, not exciting. That's hilarious. If you don't like the show in the first place, the season ending is hardly going to be interesting, now is it?
There's a good reason people should pay attention to movie reviewers that like the same things they like. I don't understand why people think tv review should be any different.
It wasn't blood, it was jam! Delicious, strawberry jam!But if she was wearing a vest and is fine, why did Castle have blood on his hands? They also padded her with a blood pack so it would look real and didn't let him in on it so his reaction would be realistic?
There's only one man who would give me the raspberry! It wasn't blood, it was jam! Delicious, strawberry jam!
I was amazed how deeply that bit on Bones affected me.I don't know if anyone watches Bones but the whole sniper death thing seems to be a common season ender this year.
Wait, the Walking Dead is back on? I heard nothing!Oh I agree, it stays light, and honestly after a few hours of Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead it's a nice respite.
That was one of the sloppiest non-cliffhanger endings I've seen in the last few years. No one out there believed she was going to die for a moment. The only question left is what tired cliche they'll use to explain why she appeared to be shot at the end of the season. My money is on the tired-and-true "it was a sting/ruse to draw out the bad guy" routine.Think she dies?!?
(Me either.)
I hadn't seen the previews yet. Okay, that's one of the usual scenarios too. It was going to be that, an elaborate ruse, or Castle dreaming. If you've seen the previews, she's in the hospital and being worked on, so I don't think that it's an elaborate ruse. I just think she pulls through.
Right? I'm rarely surprised by these types of shows, but I was totally taken in by it. Freaking awesome job on this episode.Aaaaaanyway, this weeks castle was a lot of fun. I didn't see the teeny twist until right before it was going to be revealed anyway.
This week blew me away! One of the things I pride myself on is knowing what was going on. I totally blew this one. Well played, Castle! Well played!Aaaaaanyway, this weeks castle was a lot of fun. I didn't see the teeny twist until right before it was going to be revealed anyway.
