I get the mindset. It’s the same mindset that I keep on hoping to see from the republicans with Trump. That surely this time Trump has gone too far for people to support him. That they’re not going to sacrifice the economy and civil rights just because they want an insane reaction to immigration.

But don't worry, once you're all desperate enough all those jobs that went to China and co. will be coming back, with about the same wages and protections they had there... well, maybe without the suicide nets, since there won't be any woke people to bring attention to worker suicides etc.
