[MMO] Final Fantasy XIV (we get to be cats!)

Went to my first "clubbing" experience and found myself on the DJ's stream on Twitch. We sure have come a long way since I played Asheron's Call.

Sadly I didn't have time to use gpose and get some real cinematic shots, but here's some regular ass screenshots from the Crystal data-server pride parade today.
The parade started in Gridania and walked across all the major city zones. I wasn't able to join until they'd already reached Ul'Dah.
Leaving the gates of Ul'Dah, heading towards the waking sands. It's hard to tell exactly how many were in attendance, the line stretches off screen here, and continues fairly far behind.
Everyone knows this walk, everyone's done it a million times. It's time to return to the waking sands.
After taking the ferry from Horizon and the waking sands, we land in our final destination, Limsa Lominsa, by far the gayest of the three city-states.
Some helpful astrologians help mark the proper path through the city.
We approach upon our final stop. Party time at the aft castle!

Overall we had about 200 people in attendance. All of whom were viciously blinded at the end by the light show.
The afterparty lasted a good bit, with lots of people milling around, playing music, and pledging to donate to the Trevor Project.
As the sun rose I decided to don my bard gear and start adding to the music.
If you're curious, the songs played were YMCA, Born this Way, and Montero
A cheer line of Hrothgar formed, which naturally happens any time a large group of Hrothgar congregate. Fun fact, 100% of Hrothgar are gay, even the straight ones. It's just how it is.

I'm gone further down the gpose rabbit hole. Its pretty much all I do---in addition to booking for a large club venue and being the personal manager for our FC leader and DJ. Not my old FC and leader of course--I jumped off of Coeurl and moved to Mateus. She keeps me busy and I've got a slew of google calendars, docs and my discord server bar and DMs are longer than my arm. I haven't touched "content" in weeks. I'm having a blast and meeting some interesting people.

Congratulations!
So a lot of haters poo poo'd this expansion either because they couldn't stand not being the main character, or they didn't like Wuk Lamat (or there's a subset who are just transphobes but they aren't worth discussing). But I say they're just haters, I loved this story and, above that, the actual gameplay and encounter mechanics are the best they've ever been.
I came in knowing the story wouldn't be as epic as Endwalker, that was the culmination of ten years of storytelling, while this is the beginning of a new chapter, but I think as the beginnings of a new chapter it does a great job of setting things up for the future.
Can I nitpick parts of the story? Absolutely. There are things I think could have gone better, but overall I loved everything and my only complaint is I can't marry Wuk Lamat and become King.
