Former President and Convicted Felon Trump Thread

This is terrifying. We have a President who thinks that a basic cognitive test has questions so hard that he could barely answer them.
What's more terrifying is no one who has the power to stop this seems willing to do so. Impeachment is not the only means to remove an unfit president per the Constitution. But it would definitely require someone to stick their neck out. Anyone? Anyone?

Please?

It was odd earlier, @HCGLNS was asking me these odd questions. Evidently from the very same test. I am glad he said something because it was getting weird(er than usual).

There are few things I'm more excited for than Trump throwing the ball 15 feet while Fox News talks it up like its the greatest first pitch in the history of first pitches. Maybe ever.

Are they aware of the monumental amount of booing he's going to receive? Oh wait, no crowds because of that solved Covid thing. Smart.

He got booed in DC. He wouldn't go in front of the crowd that hated him long before he even went into politics.

So the Senate passed the new defense budget that includes renaming bases with confederate names 81 - 14. I hope to fuck Trump vetoes it and that the Senate overrides him. Oh please.

He doesn’t have it in him. He’ll back down and try to spin it as him being patriotic.

I agree, Trump wouldn't risk a veto right now. It would make him look even weaker. If it was a closer vote? Maybe, but the bill was almost unanimous in both houses and so would be very likely overturned right back at him.

I just hadda shame my mom about microchips in the vaccine. I asked her when she joined qanon. She got all offended.

Then i hadda school her about there being no technology that exists that can make a transmitting microchip so small it can be injected via a syringe

I used to volunteer at a shelter. Microchips are the size of a grain of rice and inserted with a gun that resembles an ear piercing gun. One would know if they had one. They would be close to the skin and not super comfortable at first.

Providing human microchips are made in a similar fashion when the time comes.

I don't know about you guys, but being tracked is scary. I'm worried the government will trick me into allowing it!

That's what I explained to her. She said "But you can already get chipped in the fleshy meat between your thumb and forefinger"

And I told her "that chips slightly bigger than a grain of rice, and they don't inject it with a syringe. They use a special tool. You'd know." Then I had to explain further that kind of chip was a near field passive RFID (which, thankfully, I didn't have to explain) and that if it was a transmitting chip over radio, it'd have to be much bigger and have an antenna. I was like "your wifi card has an antenna the size of an index finger, and still works like shit" lol

She used to be such a smart lady. I swear, right wing conspiracy websites (like T_D and qanon and shit) have got to be some kind of experiment on how to destroy critical thinking. There was once a time when she would've heard this kind of foolishness and known how dumb it was

A person becomes more predisposed/receptive to believe things they ordinarily would not as their desperation/panic level rises. The more off-balance they become, the more willing they will be to latch on to things thrust in their direction, just like a late-night infomercial.

The word "illegal" is trending on Twitter, and I checked to see what that's about, expecting it to be some sort of immigration debate...

Trump is pissed that Twitter trends about him are almost always negative. He's claiming it's illegal because he thinks Twitter is picking these trends on purpose to make him look bad.

Which leads me to wonder what awful thing is going on that he's trying to distract everyone from.

He's also railing about charging demonstrators under some kinda "Federal Statues and Monuments Protection Act."
...which doesn't even exist.
