I assumed they were just unnecessary drivel in an attempt to look futuristic to dumb people. But then that's what every big news station does nowadays.

I can't wait until CNN busts out the Tupac hologram.

I would be surprised if that wasn't photoshopped, or cgi.

I was just saying that I'm not going to give up my screens for low resolution 1080p tv displays. Sitting that close would annoy me. But a 4k display would probably be ok...

I'm sure they're only 1080p though, and the only thing this accomplishes for them is making the background of the newscast a little busier.

There's just something oh so very 2013 about reading tweets (limited to 140 characters) on a 52 inch touchscreen-enabled desk substitute on which you can't possibly rest any real world objects.
