Funny (political, religious) pictures

....State's rights. Federal overreach. Wealth shifting from Southern (agricultural) to Northern (industrial) states and the accompanying loss of influence and power. What does, or does not, constitute a barbecue. How to deal with the natives during the expansion to the West. The interpretation of certain constitutional amendments. Seriously, I'm not only not a historian, I'm not even American and I can think of a few reasons.

....State's rights.
Yeah, like the right to allow slavery...

Federal overreach.
When it came to dealing with slavery...

....

So, yeah, those are still about slavery...

Hmm: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Cotton

"By 1860, on the eve of the American Civil War, cotton accounted for almost 60% of American exports, representing a total value of nearly $200 million a year."

Well, sure, because, you know, the war was (mainly) about slavery. I'm not denying that, but then again, I'm not propping up the Confederate flag, either. I'm just saying that you don't have to be some kind of genius or expert to be able to think of something. I'm pretty sure the interviewer would've accepted "state's rights" as a valid answer, even if it amounts to much of the same. I mean, I can easily give you "five good things about Hitler", "five reasons for WWII", "five reasons why Israel is right to blockade Gaza", "five reasons why the Palestinians are right to fight Israel",...it's not that difficult. If it's something you supposedly feel strongly about, I'd hope for some insight, even if it's superficial and doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

I for one would like to think that his brain knew those two where just reiterating the slavery issue with other words, and that's why he couldn't use them without 404-ing...

The best Mexican restaurants are always those that aren't know by anyone but locals. Even though I love Chuy's, it's a chain and can therefore never be the best.
