It does nothing other than to allow another female character to have a lesbian fling. In game, Morrigan won't respond to anyone other than men. With the patch she'll hump anyone.

See, this is what gay marriage leads to... formerly straight videogame characters being turned to the homosexual life style...[/QUOTE]It does nothing other than to allow another female character to have a lesbian fling. Um, there are about 50 billion different controllers for the PC, including the regular old Xbox 360 controller. For psychonauts, however, I would avoid the Xbox controller, it has issues with keymapping. for some reason it doesn't recognize all the shoulder buttons or the hat buttons. There is a really good and cheap logitec controller that apes the PS2 controller that I found to work pretty well for the game.I'd buy it for that cheap, but it handles awful on PC in my opinion. I need a controller for that kind of game.
Hey hey... they game just came out. It's going to take a week or two before it goes on sale :lol:Totally going to be scouring this thread for the ME2 sale....
Both times I've played through Psychonauts I've used my MadCatz Xbox 360 controller, and it worked well enough. I had to get creative with key-mapping because it didn't recognize the analog triggers as buttons, but I had no problem mapping to the digital pad. I had enough buttons for all the commands, even if I had to put Cancel in a completely non-intuitive place to make room for a psychic power button on the face buttons. (Additionally, there is 3rd party software that will allow you to make the analog triggers act like buttons, but I can't remember the name off the top of my head. I didn't know about it the first time I played, and didn't bother for the second playthrough). For psychonauts, however, I would avoid the Xbox controller, it has issues with keymapping. for some reason it doesn't recognize all the shoulder buttons or the hat buttons.
How much of a sale are you looking for, and which version of the game?Totally going to be scouring this thread for the ME2 sale....

Well, I also wanted to make sure you were going with the PC version and not the 360, but the Digital Deluxe version has:Version? I thought the CE editions only had "extra armor/weapons"?
I usually go up to $30 for an RPG.

I felt that way about PC gamepads for a while too. I put off buying one for a long time because I couldn't justify getting it for just one game. Since I finally did get one, I've used it quite a bit. There have been a lot of PC games lately that make excellent use of a game pad. What I've played in the last couple years: Psychonauts, Overlord, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, Trine, Braid, and Dreamfall. For most of those I definitely would not want to play them with mouse & keyboard.Which then eliminates the $2 cost by buying a controller to inflate it beyond what I was saving.

I thought bioshock handled pretty well with the mouse and key board, why'd you switch it to an xbox 360 controller? More used to it?I still wish that Oblivion had the native Xbox 360 support. One of the things I like about Bioshock is that when you change the controller to the Xbox 360 control scheme, it basically changes the game over to the Xbox version. Same with the overlord games. It's nice to play those games with the controller on my widescreen HD TV with the surroundsound while sitting on my couch.

Get it now anyway, then play it after Monkey Island.Dammit. I own and haven't gotten to play the new Monkey Island still, but that Sam and Max is tempting. I loved the original back in the day.
