I was thinking of posting this video in the awesome/funny videos thread but its not really that awesome, and not that funny.



....what the fuck was that? Just...shaking around...in Power Rangers costumes. This is a internet meme now, it is part of our pop-culture! I just find it odd how someone can do so little effort and become so huge.

My personal favorite is quoting mean girls to anything. I don't know why, but that one never gets old to me. And is still funny to me this day, especially anything with 'your mom's chest hair'. Heh..even now, I laugh.

It is both annoying to me, and AMAZING how something as small as a work-out related forum post can turn into the next world wide meme. Who knows what will be the next meme? One of us could say something that we would think is completely inconsequential, and the next thing we now that phrase is under the picture of a camel! Why a camel? Because internet.

Psh. I said "shake," GasBandit. See right up there? It says Shake. Sheesh, going and doing one of those "FTFW" posts just to make me look bad, like I didn't even know because it was totally in the very first post and all. Only an idiot would get it wrong like that.

The weird thing about the Harlem shake is that the original doesn't follow any of the "rules" of the subsequent ones. And so many sprang up in a matter of days! I don't get it, but I can't look away either.

Most of the parodies of Harlem Shake are more impressive as far as videos go than the original which I find weird. I can get why Gangnam style is popular, thats a well produced video. Harlem Shake is...just a bunch of guys in costumes wiggling.

I've so far completely avoided the Harlem Shake, and being at work, I can't see any of those videos, either. Woe is me :p

the meme I probably find most annyoing is the "ermagerd" and whatever one. It's....it doesn't make sense. It doesn't sound like that. it's not a funny pronounciation. It's not some dialect. It's just...random badly-pronounced, bad-sounding english. Blergh.

I guess you never talked to anyone from South Texas. They drop R's where they don't belong all the time. I can't spell any of the words my Dad taught me.

It originated from a picture of a teenage girl wearing braces. The sounds/mispellings are from her trying to speak with the braces on.
