From what I read, "Lowe was suffering from health problems, including an aortic dissection that required intubation twice, leading Lowe to require a nurse to care for him at his Florida residence."

Still very sad. I felt SGC2C was peak Gen X humor and shaped what would become Adult Swim. None of that would have worked without Lowe.

I, too, was an ardent SGC2C and even Cartoon Planet fan. I even got the Space Ghost's Musical Barbecue and Modern Music for Swinging Superheroes CDs. There was even a brief period in the early internet days where I used Brak as my avatar instead of a can of beans. I about shat myself when George showed up in a live action sequence in Sealab 2021. I've got all of the above on my Plex server. Maybe a rewatch is in order...

Just too damn young, he, Andy Merril, and C Martin Croker BUILT Cartoon Network, and his Space Ghost voice became so iconic most people know it more than the actual original series. I'm just glad he was able to reprise the character one last time for Jellystone.
