Go nuts!

I remember the idea of competing health advice or "health advice chicken" convinced me to spawn "Health Advice Chicken", and this e-cig thread was happening at the same time. :)

Someone search for and necro "health advice chicken". I'm too lazy slash intoxicated.

I use the Joy-E. I wasn't a super heavy smoker to begin with and I prefer the cartridge tips, so that will get me through at least a whole day and the battery can last me up to 3 days.

Also, in regards to the smell, the only smell that you would get wouldn't be from exhaling, it would be from the juice being heated up on the element. That does have an ozoney smell mixed with whatever flavor you're using. My best friend has some that are almost as noxious smelling as regular cigarettes because they're so sickly sweet.

I use these:

on the rare occasions I smoke anything.

HOWEVER: in the spirit of this thread, I would honestly like people's opinions on these, because I should like to get my mom one - she's always talking about quitting, but usually only makes it a month.

If I can get her going on it, my dad is too much of a gadget nerd NOT to try one. Then again, he's a creature of habit, so who knows.

If I can get them to quit, a lot of the tension my wife feels about them being around our daughter will be gone (my wife, the rabid anti-smoker)

I had never heard of these until about two months ago, and now they're EVERYWHERE. There's even disposable ones at the gas station. I didn't realize that there hadn't actually been much research in them yet, but I highly doubt they are any worse than actual cigarettes.
